Reese's POV
I woke up into my darkness again. I couldn't feel anyone holding my hand or being by my side. I felt so alone. The door opened and I heard the nurse lady who was hitting on Spencer earlier, I still wanted to slap her. I didn't have any control over most of my body.
She checked my monitors around me. Everything seemed to be alright because she left ands no one else came immediately back in. The tubes had been taken out of my throat and mouth since I had freaked out earlier while my eyes were still closed. The door slowly opened and someone quietly stepped in. Heavy breathing was the only sound in the room.
"Reese Jenson," it was Jake. My heart froze. "I wish he would've killed you. It would've been so much easier for me."
The heart monitor went off. I was so scared with what Jake had said. The nurses came in and then the security. I heard Spencer's voice over the crowd of people around me.
"Sir, you need to go out."
"I need to be with her!" He yelled out.
A shock ran through my body. They sent another one not too long afterwards. Some commands were sent out to keep watch on me. I wasn't a little kid I thought to myself.
"Can I be with her now?" Spencer's voice was weak and frightened.
I wondered why. Suddenly he was holding my hand. I used all my brain power to squeeze his hand. I ended up doing so. I heard a gasp. I chuckled a little. It's like Sexy didn't expect me to actually be alive. The heat from his body came to my side.
"Peanut Butter, can you hear me?"
I squeezed twice. We found our communication. He asked me a whole bunch of questions. Some of them about my pain, others about knowing the people in the waiting room. I loved having his touch.
I fell back asleep for a little while and when I woke up a little I shook my body. Nobody came to my side. I was alone. I tried topped my eyes. It only took a few tries but I got them open. The light was so blinding that I immediately closed them. Then the door opened.
I opened my eyes again to see Raylee standing there, her back was turned. I closed my eyes again. I didn't want to see my sister who abandoned me 12 years ago. She never even tried so what made her think that being here for me right now was going to help. I mentally groaned.
"Reese, I'm so... Sorry, I was stupid and hating Mom and Dad for dying even though it wasn't their fault. I was a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off and I knew that you were smart and better off without me during that time."  Why does my sister have to suddenly be all wise and wanting forgiveness? "It wasn't until four years ago that I grew up. You have a nephew. He's three. I'm ashamed of who the dad is, he was one of my multiple flings. But I guess I'll tell you anyhow since you're still asleep and I doubt you'll remember when you wake up," I mentally chuckled. Man was this fake sleeping this good. It was like a church confessional. "It was Raymond, the guy who did all of this to you. Our anniversary was this week. I don't know what set him off and if I would've known I would've never slept with him. I feel like way deep down this is all my fault in the end."
I could hear her start to cry. Gosh dang, I'll have to comfort her.
"It was Raymond fault for being a psychopath, not yours," my voice was raspy. I didn't remember who Raymond did or what he did but it was probably for the best.
"What?" Raylee was utterly surprised.
"I've been awake for a while now, just don't tell anyone. I want it to be like a confessional."
She smiled. "Even though I went away you still sound a bit like me."
"Duh, you're who I got 10 shots from. And can you not tell anyone out there yet? And make sure Spencer is the last one?"
"That won't be hard," Raylee mumbles to herself. "Of course I will."
I wondered what went on between Spencer and Raylee. She had physically cringed when I mentioned his name.
"Well I'm tired so I'm going to go back to sleep." I told her.
"But you were just asleep for two days!"
"Sleeping is hard work dear sister."
When I woke up Spencer was holding my hand and his head was by my side. He looked so tired.
Seeing him there, crumpled up in a little ball by my side on my bed. He was still way longer then me, tensed up but his face was fallen with relaxation. My arm was resting on his chest, curled up with both of his hands on my one. I ran my thumb across his incredibly soft skin. I didn't know how all of this looked but to me I was extremely comfortable.
"Sexy, I love you." I said, my voice still raspy from everything.
"Reese..." He mumbled out. His eyes were still closed.
I tapped on his thumb. His brown eyes popped open. They met with mine and a large smile grew on his face.
"You're awake!"
"As are you." I said.
"Can I kiss you?" His lips were close to mine.
"Why would that be a question, Sexy Genius?"
The nurse walked in on our awkward make out session. She seemed a little mad at me for kissing my boyfriend. She checked my vitals and such and then left us be.
"I have to call the group. They left for DC last night."
"I don't blame them. Afterwards, I want more of your lips on mine," I winked.
His eyes grew a little bigger as he dialed a number. I loved making him feel surprised, it just made him cuter. He walked out of the room for to call everyone. I just waited since there wasn't anything else for me to do.

Spencer's POV
I called Garcia first, even though she hadn't met Reese, she absolutely loved her. Plus, I hadn't checked in with her in a few days. She'd probably be annoyed at me.
"Hey there Sweet Cheeks, why aren't you in the office yet? It's 11 already!" Her voice raised in volume with every word.
I sighed. "I'm in Portland, with Reese."
There was a pause. Some sounds of clicking and clacking. A computer typing. "No, you're at the hospital. Why are you at the hospital?"
"The unsub we had been tracking took Reese. He took her as a hostage after she had escaped. There was a whole car chase and Reese is in the ICU."
Garcia gasped. "Poor, poor Reese! Is the bastard dead?" She sounded a little too happy to hear someone had died. Although I felt the same way Garcia did.
"She just woke up," Garcia squealed.
"Did she remember you? Does she have amnesia? I've heard about patients who wake up and don't remember and of the people they've been with."
"She still has all of her memory," And she still knows how to kiss like a master, I thought to myself.
"Ooh, did you guys kiss?" I thought I hadn't said that aloud but oh well.
"Yes, it helps with recovery." I wasn't sure if Garcia got my attempt at a joke.
"I see where you're going Sweet Cheeks, just don't hurt the poor girl more so than what that evil man did."
"I wouldn't ever do that to her," I took a deep breath. "I love her too much."
"Aw, Spencer's in looooovvvvvveee," Garcia cooed. In the background I heard Morgan finally yell out a, "Yes he admitted it!"
"Is this on speaker phone?" I asked already knowing the answer.
Everything was silent for a moment. Then JJ said, "Sorry Spence, it is. We were about to fill in Garcia when you called. By the way, I'm so happy for you Spence!"
I rolled my eyes. "I was going to tell everyone of you that Reese woke up."
"Well now you don't!" Alex said very perky like.
"Well I have to get back to her. The doctors had to kick me out to check on her anyways. The nurse here sternly told me that kissing was too much stimulant at the moment for Reese,"
I glanced down at my watch. I had enough time to grab a few of her things from her apartment, which I payed this last months rent for since I was staying there. The rest of the team would spend a night here or there, it cost less for them to do that.
A bunch of, "Bye" and "Be safe" came from the other end of the line. Then I hung up. I called Vanesa and Colton, Mickey, and Raylee to tell them the news. Raylee didn't have much reaction to my statement. I just ignored it and thought she was sleep deprived.
After I had gone to get some of Reese's things and cleaned up myself I went into her room. She had gotten moved out of the ICU so I had fund that which only took a fm few minutes after looking at the map and figuring out where she would be.
Her smile grew when she saw me. "Hey there Sexy."
"I brought your tooth brush and air comb." I held them out to her.
She much appreciated the things.
I looked at how many casts she had on and how many couldn't be on. She had broken her left arm, five ribs, fractured her thigh bone. For being in such a bad situation earlier she acted as if the world was all good.
"Do you remember what happened?" I asked her. I had offered to do the psych/mental wellness evaluation for the guy at the hospital. He much appreciated my offering.
"You were gone for a little while, but you're here now!" She continued to brush her hair.
"Do you remember what Raymond did to you those last three weeks?" Her eyes looked as if they were very confused.
"I've been to work, helping animals. That's what I do Sexy. Don't you remember silly?"
I had all that I needed for the analysis. Hopefully she'd be better off to keep forgetting those weeks with Raymond. She'd stayed the longest and had the most trauma physically out of all the other girls. Only she and Raymond knew what happened. And they both couldn't say anything about it.
