3rd person POV
He'd already gone through seven girls in the last week and a half. None of them were what he wanted.
Some just didn't have the name for it. Others had bad hair, no curls, too many curls. They just weren't right for her!
He walked to the cemetery. Maybe not this year. But he would get her.
Then he heard a girl looking at two gravestones, talking to them as if the gravestones were still alive. He drew closer. This girl had red hair that was totally straight. She had bright blue eyes and freckles. Her skin was like a soft, smooth milk. If it weren't for the girl's wild hair she would be almost exactly like her.
He began to have a conversation with her. She seemed just right. He had to tell himself to wait. He needed to make sure this one was a right fit for her.Reese's POV (same time)
Before work I decided to go to visit Mom and Dad. It was closer to the edge of town but I didn't mind. I didn't visit them quite as much as I should. They didn't mind though. I could talk to them whenever.
I pulled up to Clementine Cemetery and sighed before I got out of the car. Mom never really liked flowers from what I remembered. I was only 6 when they died. That's when I went to Aunty and Uncle's house.
They had been in a 13 car pile up. They were car number 12. If a semi hadn't been 13 they would've made it. Everyone but the semi driver died. He element to a mental hospital after that. He had barely made it out alive. There were 40 declared dead, my parents were 2 of them.
I walked up to their grave, my hands in my pants pockets. The grass was freshly watered and the tree close by was wet with dew.
"Hey Momma and Daddy, sorry I haven't visited in a while. I've been dealing with a lot of stuff the last month and a half or so. But you guys probably already knew that.
Maeve died, it's been really rough to know that I won't be able to talk to her. But you guys are probably all having a picnic together.
I can't talk to Raylee," I stiffened at even saying my sister's name. After they died she went full out wild. Drinking all the time. That's where I get the 10 shots from. She was 8, almost closer to 9, years older than me and so she'd only known Mom and Dad being there. She got Mom's brown hair and despised me for my redness.
"I haven't talked to Raylee in over 5 years, am I a horrible sister for that. Gosh, I really shouldn't be beating myself up. She hasn't tried to make contact. At least I tried. Until she changed her number.
Oh Momma and Daddy, I met this really great guy. He's really awesome. If you guys were here you'd like him. Maeve liked him, they were actually dating. Am I awful for dating my best friends boyfriend? In any other circumstance I would be definitely be saying yes but now, I'm not so sure.
I love you guys," I touched each of their gravestones. The closest I got to actually feeling their skin.
I started walking when I noticed another guy. Something seemed off about him. I gave him a nice little wave which he took the wrong way. He came up to me and even started talking.
I had a feeling that if Mikey hadn't called me in for a surgery that the guy would've done something else.A/N
Sorry this update came so late. I've been away from wifi all day. I'm even getting myself nervous for what's going to happen. Thanks for reading!
