Cara had moved off Harry's lap and was now throwing grapes into his mouth. The whole lunchroom cheered every time she made it in. Zayn frowned and rushed over to Harry hitting his shoulder.

"Ow!" Harry looks over with a frown but smiled once he saw who it was "Oh hey Zayn!"

"Don't act like you fucking care you prick." Zayn gritted out nostrils flaring. He would do anything to protect his baby Louis. They had been best friends since they were kids.

Harry's eyebrows furrowed "Zayn what are you talking about? If you have something to say lets do it outside..." Harry said unsure. Zayn looked about ready to beat someone up.

Cara looked at Harry with a concerned face but Harry just smiled at her and waved her off walking out the lunchroom doors with Zayn. Zayn then led them even further to the outside of the school.

"Okay man what do you wan-" Harry was speaking but abruptly stopped because he got punched hard in the face.

"Why would you do that to Louis?!" Zayn yelled falling onto Harry and pinning him to the ground. Zayn was straddling Harry and holding down his arms as his tears fell down and hit Harry's face. Harry's shirt had rode up and now his back was scratching against the rocky pavement.

"What did he do to deserve getting his heart broken?!" Zayn raised his hand and punched Harry with his right hand.

"All he's ever done is be an amazing person and you keep breaking him over and over and over!" Zayn said punching Harry with his left fist ever time he said over.

"He is too fragile to be treated like this!" Zayn shouted in Harry's face resuming his previous position of holding Harry down except this time he was right in Harry's face.

Harry's nose was bleeding and his cheek was cut "Z-Zayn stop what are you talking about..?" Harry weakly said since he just got beat up.

"You fucking bastard. You don't deserve Louis. You don't even deserve to look at him. I'm the one he should be with! Not you!" Zayn's tears fell and ran down Harry's cheeks.

Harry eyes widened in realization. It finally made sense now. Zayn was always so protective of Louis. Zayn always sparkled when Louis walked in the room.

Zayn was in love with Louis.

"Zayn..." Harry said in a soft voice.

Zayn moved off of Harry and stood up staring at Harry with disgust "Why? Why would you lead him on? You're the first person he's ever actually fell for, but you were never serious.." Zayn breathed heavily in a defeated voice.

Harry was completely confused. First Zayn starts beating him up, then he finds out Zayn is secretly in love with Louis, and now Zayn says he somehow broke Louis? He has no idea what's going on.

"Zayn I honestly have no idea what you're talking about..." Harry said in a sad voice.

Zayn's face quickly changed into one of pure anger and he was moving to kick Harry in the side but a soft broken voice shouted out loudly.

"Z-Zayn stop!" Louis said with desperate eyes as he ran over to the two boys. It was evident in Louis's voice that he had been crying a lot.

"You shouldn't get in trouble over him." Louis said softly only looking at Zayn. Louis grabbed Zayn's hand and looked at his bloody knuckles rubbing over them with his small thumb.
