The warm summer sun had lit up the city like wild fire. It's warm touch gifted everything and everyone with its warm glow. To accompany its beautiful rays a slight summer breeze dance across the city, shifting left and right to over every block of this bustling city. It was just after 12:00 and anyone who was anyone was walking around enjoying this absolutely perfect day.
Well...
Almost everyone.
Y/n and Hana have made a fort in their shared heights apartment, using a thick blanket to cover the skyline window to reject the warm summer day. They didn't want to move, no sir all they wanted to do was play video games. Y/n did it just for the fun of it. But to Hana, it was practice. She sometimes would let you win just to see your reaction. But most of the time she would shove it in your face.
"Ha!! Fifth time in a row! I am on a role!"
At least y/n can tolerate it by swinging the insult back her way.
"Ha ha very funny, the Dorito lord wins again."
Hana shot a pouting face towards her s/o and pointed her fingers towards her eyes then y/n's.
"You better watch yourself! I am a champion!"
Y/n let out a giggle.
"Yeah... Sometimes."
"Hey!!" Hana yelled to y/n as they stood up and walked toward the kitchen.
"You can't just say that!"
Y/n sung back to her in a high pitched voice
"Oh yes I can!"
Y/n opened the cabinet under the sink to put an empty bag of Doritos in the trash can. They shut it quite fast and started to walk back to Hana. When they arrived to their seat Hana had a starry look in her eye as she was looking at her phone.
"Yo!! Look at this!"
Hana shoved the phone in y/n's face. Their neck jutted back slightly as she grabbed the phone to read it.
"Lucio was invited to this really high end bar to DJ for them! And he wants us to go!"
Hana was nearly jumping in place as she waited for your response. Y/n chuckled at Hana's expression and replied.
Sure! Why not! Beats being here all day."
Y/n looked outside toward the blaring light.
"Erm... What time is that event?"
Hana saw your gaze and looked outside. She lifted her hand and bent it at the wrist to emphasis her reply.
"Oh don't worry about that! The event isn't until later tonight when the sun is down."
Y/n slumped their shoulders in relief as they looked outside.
"Oh thank god. I did NOT want to go outside today."
Hana giggled as she challenged you to another round of her favorite game. And that's where the two lovers sat for a good three hours.
6 o'clock, the big city was starting to come alive. As the sun went down, the lights came on. Streets lights, billboards, advertisements, city buildings. You name it and it's lit up. The funniest part about the night is that people seem to be more lively. They just want to get up and dance around and just all around have a good time. And that's what Hana and y/n were about to do.
