"Don't wander off too far dear." Your mom called to you as you ran around
"I won't mom." You called back too her
Your parents and you had decided to go camping and boy were you excited
"M\N dear you better listen to your mother~" your other mom called to you, you were already to far away to hear her though.
Colors flew by you as you raced the current of the river. The pounding of your feet on the forest floor startled the birds.
You stopped running as you ran out of breath, huffing and puffing.
You were still only nine years old and therefore your body couldn't handle to much exercise.
You plopped down on the lush grass near the river bank grinning.
The sounds of nature were very loud and overwhelming but at the same time very beautiful.
Your eyes started to flutter close from exhaustion and you slowly faded away.

You felt something poking your cheek(which cheeks ohnonohn)
"Ngh" you swatted whatever it was away
*Zipp beeep*
You slowly opened your eyes noticing that it was dark out.
You shot up in alarm, it was dark, and you had no idea where you were even.
You frantically started to look around to make some sense of where your where, that's when you noticed...him? It?
A big robot was looking down at you tilting it's head slightly as if to say 'are you ok?'
You crawled backwards away from the robot, your mother had told you stories of the omnic crisis and how many people died.
This robot perfectly matched the description of them, he even had a gun for his right hand.
You looked at the robot, terrified as it came closer to you.
As he held out his hand you squeezed your shut tight.
You felt something smooth and cold brush against your cheek.
You opened your eyes to see the robot looking down on you kneeling.
You suddenly felt safer under the 'gaze' of this robot.
You raised your arm and placed your hand over his robotic one.

We came across a familiar clearing.
Mr.Robot had helped me to try and find my way back.
You quickly hugged Mr.robot and muttered a thank you and ran to your parents.
Your parent were on their phones pacing around the camp site but as soon as they saw you relief flooded their eyes and they quickly ran towards you.
As they were embracing you, you saw a faint lettering on Mr.Robot as you were leaving.
"Bastion"
"Bye Bastion!!!" You yelled as your parents were hugging you.
They got you into the car and started to drive off.
You rolled down the window still waving.
In the distance you could hear a faint beeping.
