Bourbon Boats and Tears

A few hours later Tony was up and making breakfast. He heated up the coffee that Ziva had made earlier.

Ziva walked up behind him and snaked her arms around his waist.

"Good morning." He said, flipping the pancake.

"Good morning." She said going for a cup of coffee.

"Sleep okay?" Tony asked.

"Yes thank you." Ziva said softly. She was glad he made her go back to sleep because she would have been a zombie the rest of the day.

"Ima." Tali said grumpily. She had just woken up.

Ziva smiled and picked her up.

"Are you hungry princess?" Tony asked.

She nodded.

"Well I've got some pancakes. You like those right? She's not allergic is she?" He said becoming worried.

"She loves pancakes Tony and she does not have any allergies that I know of." Ziva said calming him down.

"Okay. Just didn't want to poison her." He said. Ziva smiled. He worried over the littlest things.

"When do we meet Gibbs?" Ziva asked.

"I called him earlier. He said come on by. I hope we don't give him a heart attack." Tony said brushing her hair out of her face.

"That is not funny Tony." She said with a scowl.

"Well he's only expecting me and Tali. You are the cherry on top." He said making her laugh.

They are and got ready to go. The drive to Gibbs'a house wasn't long enough for Ziva. She had no idea what she was going to say to him.

They pulled in and Tony looked at Ziva.

"It's gonna be okay." He said squeezing her hand.

"I hope so." She said softly.

They got out and Tony carried Tali in. He headed down to the basement because that's where Gibbs would be.

"Hey Boss." Tony said setting Tali down.

"DiNozzo." Gibbs said.

"Sorry I haven't called in a couple months." Tony said sheepishly.

"It's fine. You have a kid now." Gibbs pointed out as Tali came over to him.

"Yes. But there is something I need to tell you." Tony said as Gibbs picked Tali up.

"Okay spill." Gibbs said bouncing Tali on his hip.

"Uh, actually you shouldn't be holding her when I tell you." Tony said taking Tali into his arms.

"DiNozzo." Gibbs said trying to get to the point.

"I got my answers Boss. And now you get yours too." He said as Ziva walked down the stairs.

Gibbs stood there tears welling in the old marines eyes.
