Trick or Treat Part 1

Halloween came around and Tali decided she wanted to be a princess.

Elsa in fact. Tony and Ziva walked her around their neighborhood so she could go tricker treating.

"Hey sweet cheeks when is Abby expecting us?" Tony asked dumping all of Tali's candy on the table.

"Nine. I just hope she does not scare Tali." Ziva said.

"Which ones are she allergic to?" Tony asked.

"The ones with nuts." Ziva said softly.

Tony picked out everything that had nuts or were made in factory's with nuts.

"Doesn't leave her with much chocolate." Tony said.

"I bought her a bag of chocolate that I know for sure is safe for her." Ziva said softly.

"You think of everything." He said kissing her softly.

"I try." She said.

"Come on let's get ready to go." He said pulling her to their room.

"Tony I do not want to dress up." Ziva whined.

"But Ziva it's Halloween. And you'll look great in it." He said handing her the costume.

"You honestly think I would wear this in front of my daughter let alone my boss?" She asked holding up the costume.

"I could hope." He joked.

"No." She said seriously.

"Fine here's the real one. I knew you wouldn't go for that." Tony said handing her the other costume.

"What are you supposed to be?" Ziva asked.

"Tali picked them out. You and I are going to be Anna and Cristof from Frozen and she is Elsa." Tony explained.

Ziva burst into a fit of laughter.

"Tali would do that." She giggled.

They got dressed and headed to Abby's house.

"Ima look!" Tali said pointing to the big skeleton outside Abby's house.

"Abby did a good job decorating yes." She said.

Once Tony parked Ziva pulled Tali from her car seat and sat her down. The little girl ran excitedly to the door.

Just as Tony and Ziva got to the top step the door opened and a big hairy beast stood before them.

Tali screamed and ran behind Ziva.

"Tali no it's just me." McGee said taking the mask off.

But she refused to leave her safe spot, as she gripped her mothers leg tightly.

"Way to go McScary." Tony said prying Tali off of Ziva's leg and holding her.

"Look Tali it was just Uncle Tim." Ziva reasoned. Tali peaked out from under Tony's chin and glared at McGee.

"God she looks like you when she does that Ziva." McGee said.

"Timmy what's taking so long?" Abby yelled.

They all walked through the door. Every step Tony took Tali's grip on him tightened.

"Tali you know all of this is fake. Nothing here can hurt you." He assured her.

"McGee did you scare Tali?" Abby asked. She had dressed like Marilyn Monroe.

"I didn't mean to." McGee said defensively.

They walked into the living room and Palmer, Ducky, and Gibbs were sitting, in costume.

"How'd she get him to dress up?" Tony whispered to Ziva.

"I have no idea." she said softly.

Palmer was a pirate. Ducky was soldier. And Gibbs was Frankenstein.

"Abba!" Tali said pointing at Gibbs happily. Tony laughed and Tali began wiggling out of his arms and running to see him.

"Hey kiddo." Gibbs said picking her up.

"I'm Elsa." Tali told him happily.

"I see that. A real princess." Gibbs said humoring her.

"Ima's Anna and Abba is Crisof." Tali explains.

"I see that. Did you pick out their costumes?" Gibbs asked.

"Yup." Tali said proudly.

"Good job." He said giving her a high five.

"Alright everyone lets take a picture!" Abby squealed happily.

"McGee you might want to stand on the end." Tony said.

"That is a good idea yes." Ziva said picking Tali up.

"Alright everyone. It's set for ten seconds." Abby said running back over to their group.

Once the flash caused everyone to groan and rub their eyes they all walked over to see the picture.

"Are y'all ready to get your spooky on?" Abby asked excitedly.

"How do you put on spooky?" Ziva asked confused.

"It's a figure of speech Zi." Tony chuckled.

"Scary movie time!" Abby declared.

"Um Abby." Ziva said motioning towards Tali who was happily eating a cookie.

"Right baby on board tonight nothing too scary." Abby said.

"Yes I would like her to sleep in her room tonight." Tony said humorously.

"Ima can I have another cookie?" Tali asked.

"No Tali, I think that is enough sugar." Ziva said running her fingers through her curls.

Once Ziva had turned away and was talking to Tony again McGee walked over to Tali.

"Here Tali you can have a cookie." McGee said handing her one from the box he bright.

Tali looked up at him happily and accepted it.

"Just don't tell your Ima." McGee said poking her nose.

"Alright. Halloween Town it is." Abby said.

"What is that?" Ziva asked.

"It's kind of a kid Halloween movie. It's the only one I have that won't scare Tali." Abby explained.

Just then Tali started choking. This got everyone's attention quickly and Ziva's eyes went wide.

"Who gave her something with nuts in it?" She asked frantically.

"I gave her a peanut butter cookie. Is she allergic?" McGee asked.

"Yes!" Tony growled calling 911.

Ziva swept her fingers through the back of Tali's throat trying to wipe out any reminisce of the cookie.

"The ambulance is on its way." Tony said, fear evident in his voice.

"Tali baby just breathe." Ziva said frantically.

A few minutes later the ambulance arrived and they loaded Tali up with Ziva in the ambulance and Tony and the rest of the gang in their cars.

"Ma'am do you know what caused her to go into anaphylactic shock?" One of the EMT's asked.

"Peanut butter cookie. Her uncle did not know." Ziva said with a tear running down her face.

"She's can't breathe I'm going to have to intubate her." The other EMT said getting a new tools.

"What the hell is that?" Ziva asked.

"It's an endotracheal tube, I have to use it in order for your daughter to be able to breath." She said sliding it down Tali's throat.
