Romance on the Beach

Later that evening Tony and Ziva dropped Tali off in Abby's room just as planned.

Earlier that day Tony had gotten Gibbs alone and asked him for permission to propose to Ziva.

And of course Gibbs gave him his blessing.

"Tony this is beautiful." Ziva said seeing the blanket on the sand covered in food and candles.

"Anything for you Ziva." He said kissing her head.

They sat down and Tony filled her class with sparkling water and handed it to her.

Noticing the shocked look she gave him.

"This is perfect." She said with a smile as she looked at all the food. Mostly things they had come to love together.

"I wanted it to be, for you." He said leaning in to kiss her. Then placing his hand on her stomach. "And this one too." He whispered in her ear.

Her eyes snapped opened and she looked at him.

"How did you know?" She asked biting her lip worried.

"You throw up a lot. And I found the pregnancy test in the trash." Tony pointed out.

"Well surprise?" She asked with a small smile.

"I was overjoyed when I saw it." He said kissing her sweetly.

Ziva smiled happily.

"Let's eat sweet cheeks." Tony said handing her a plate.

As the night progressed they found themselves walking hand in hand down the warm sandy beach.

"Ziva?" Tony said softly taking her in his arms.

"Yes Tony?" She murmured.

"Now I decided this before I knew you were pregnant again. Which doesn't matter because we already have Tali. So don't think that's why." He said cupping her cheek.

"What?" She asked confused leaning back to look at him.

"I love you." He said suddenly getting nervous.

"I love you too." Ziva said softly, her eyebrow cocking up as she detected the hint of nervousness in his voice.

"And I want to be with you for the rest of my life." He said smoothly, his confidence finding him again.

"I am not leaving Tony." She said softly with sad eyes.

"I know. But I've been wanting to do this for weeks now. Asked Gibbs and everything." He said brightly as he slowly went down on one knee.

Ziva's eyes grew big and her hand flew to her face. Tears pooling in her chocolate brown eyes.

"Ziva I have loved you since the first time I laid my eyes on you. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. You're kind and loving and can kick ass when need be. You gave me the most beautiful little girl in the world and soon you will be giving me another. I promise to love you every day until I die. Will you do me the extraordinary favor of becoming my wife?" He asked.

Ziva stood there tears streaming down her tanned face. She nodded profusely in approval, not trusting her voice.

Tony smiled as he slid the ring on her finger and spun her around. Ending in a sweet kiss.
