--"Why is my daughter blindfolded?"
You would think that one of the three fools - including Dad - would answer Mom but no. It was quiet. Quiet!
Why do I always end up explaining things? I'm the youngest.
"I broke my glasses and I can't find my contacts," I explain to no one in particular. I have absolutely no clue as to where anyone is.
Someone snorts and then you cue the laughing - from none other than the three fools I came down with. I roll my eyes behind the cloth and turn around to where the laughing is coming from.
"Knock it off!" I hiss, "your making it worse. Dad, stop."
If the people in Australia couldn't hear these three laughing then they should now because their laughing so hard that one of them falls to the ground - hearing the thump.
"Over......here," Scarlett calls from somewhere that's not where I hissed at them moments ago.
Oh my goodness. My faces is probably an ugly shade red from the amount of embarrassment that I'm feeling right now. Then who am I talking to?
Oh no.
Please Lord, please. Let it not be the idiot Trevor. I silently pray in my head when my hand raises to make contact with whatever that I was talking to. My hand brushes against something hard. The wall? I thought before pressing my hand firmly against the hard surface. I don't remember our walls being uneven....and feel so much softer.
"Sapphire Cerulean Sage!" Mom screeches, I jump back startled. "Get your hands off our guests!"
Guest? I'm not touching anything but the.....Kill me now!
I scramble back only to trip over something and land on my nonexistent butt. A curse slips through my lips forgetting that I'm in a room with my manners police Mom. My heart is beating a tattoo against my ribcage. Freaking shit.
"Oh pimpsqueak," Scarlett helps me up - I know its her because she's the only fool that calls me by that ridiculous name.
I manage to stand back up with the blindfolds still intact. I'm too scared to take them off. Mom's reaction along with the guests are the only reason behind that.
My hands are immediately in front of me, trying to - unsuccessfully - maneuver my way around. Hands are suddenly on me making me jump out of my skin and releasing another curse.
"Whoever this is, knock it off!" I breathe in heavily, "I'm blindfolded for petes sake."
The only response I get are a few snorts and a disapproving - its obviously Mom - sigh that seems loud enough to be heard through the snorts and laughter. These people have absolutely no sympathy for a blindfolded girl! You know how easy it is to scare the scrap out of a person who can see nothing. Absolutely nothing!
"Chill, its just me." This voice either belongs to Scarlett or Agent because we all know that Lilac would never say that, knowing that there are three other people who sound exactly like the other.
"Okay, enough." Mom interrupts, her voice sounding strain and I know she's forcing a smile, "why don't we have dinner already? Argent help your sister to her seat."
"Saph, I'm gonna put my hands on you, okay? Don't freak out," Argent says as her hands land on my shoulder. I let her lead me to my seat, banging my toe against a few things before finally settling into my seat. She mumbles an apology before I hear the seat next to me being pulled out and someone plumping down on it.
