Chapter 6

♢ Person who's onto Haru P.O.V. ♢

Haruka Nanase, I finally know what you are. The person you have to thank for that is a certain merman with green eyes.

▪ Makoto's P.O.V. ▪

Stupid, stupid, stupid! "Makoto? Are you okay?" I look at Haru trying to collect my chill. "I'm good, Haruka." He growls at me.

"Don't call me that." He turns to swim away but Nagisa stops him. "Haru-chan! I need my necklace back. That new guy named Rei is coming over to my house for dinner tonight." Haru takes the necklace off and gives it to Nagisa. "Thanks, Haru-chan."

What am I going to do? I'm such an idiot! I should've never met up with Kou and Sousuke. Now one of them is going to tell Rin about Haru. What have I done?!?

¢ Nagisa's P.O.V. ¢

Tonight's the night. I swim home to get ready for Rei to come over. "Nagisa, hurry they'll be here in an hour." My mother shouts at me.

"Mr. and Mrs. Ryugazaki, welcome." My mother invites them in. Rei is looking fine, if I do say so myself. "I hope you all like...", my mother keeps talking while I stop listening.

They keep talking and eating while I just sit here. "Nagisa, why don't you show Rei your room?" My dad suggests. I shrug and drag Rei upstairs, "So this is it." I sat on my bed while he looks around.

"You don't talk much do you, Rei?" I look up at him while he fixes his glasses, a light blush scatters onto his cheeks. "Not much around new people, I'm sorry." He sits down on my floor.

"How would you feel about meeting my friends?" He looks away blushing a little harder. "C-can I get to know you better first?" I shake my head yes and move to the floor sitting in front of him.

We talk until his parents call for him. "Bye, Nagisa-kun." He kisses my cheek and swims away. "Bye, Rei-chan." I whisper lightly touching the spot he kissed.
