Chapter 6

-The next day (Monday)-

Laura's POV

I was sleeping then heard a scream from downstairs so I got up and ran downstairs.

Me- VANESSA???!!!??? WHAT'S WRONG??

Vanessa- oh I got my mail!

Me- you made me wake up 7:00am because of mail?

Vanessa- I didn't mean to wake you......

Me- surre..

Vanessa- so aren't you gonna get ready for school?

Me- I just woke up. Give me a break.

Vanessa- well there's coffee in the kitchen if you want some.

Me- thanks. Oh and what's the mail for?

Vanessa- it's from Riker:)

Me- seriously? But we and the lynches live so close, like 5 minutes away.

Vanessa- but it's a love letter!

Me- hand it over!!

Vanessa handed it over to me and I read it.


Dear Vanessa,

I wanted to tell you that your the most beautiful girl in the world! I love you with all my heart.

You light up my world like no body else;) you mean that much to me.

I can't ever be away from you. You are my world.

Tears fill my eyes but none come out.

Me- that's so romantic<3

Vanessa- I know right!

Me- well I'm gonna go have breakfast.

I hand the note back to Vanessa and walk over to the kitchen. Man, I'm hungry!

I get the coffee and pour it into my favorite mug.

It has a red hearts and pink backround. It says love in cursive.

After I got my coffee I made some toast with butter.

I finished my breakfast so I went upstairs into my room.

I grabbed my things that I needed for my shower then my phone had a text alert.

I picked up my phone and saw that it was from Ross so I smiled:)

Ross: Hey:P

Me: heyy.

Ross: need someone to walk to school with?

Me: okay!

Ross: so ill pick you up around 8:00-8:30.

Me: see ya

Ross: bye😘😘

- END OF CONVO -

I literally almost fell off my bed at that last respond from Ross. Lol.

So I got into the shower and sang a bit along to some music that was playing from my iPod.

I got out after about 15 minutes then headed over to my room to put on my clothes.

A blue dress, with a jean vest that was white with a pair of silver ballet flats.

I put my hair in a ponytail.

I pack my bag and then I saw that it was 8:10am.

Ooh, Ross should be here soon! I here a knock on the door so I hurry up packing my bag then get downstairs.

I opened the door to see Ross with a note in his hand.

Ross- hey! Um.. Can you give this to Vanessa? Riker gave it to me to give to Vanessa because he couldn't.

Me- yeah sure. Vanessa!

I called her as she came running down the stairs.

Vanessa- yeah?

Me- this is for you.

Vanessa- from Ross?

Me- no, it's from Riker.

Vanessa's eyes light up as she grabs it from me and heads over to the couch. I see she's opening it with her eyes widening with either excitement or disappointment.

Ross- well lets go:)

Me- okay.

Ross- so is everything alright now?

Me- well Vanessa's getting really happy that riker has been sending her love notes every now and then.

Ross- *laughs a little*

Me- so how about you?

Ross- well it's good.

Me- but why can't Riker give the notes to Vanessa himself?

Ross- because he's scared he'll be rejected.

Me- wait. So you mean that the one you just have to Vanessa from Riker was about asking her out on a date?

Ross- yeah..

Me- that's so cute!!

Ross- well we're here!

Me- oh I see Sevina over there waiting for us!
