Chapter 41

Ross' POV

I wake up without Laura beside me. I start freaking out and pacing back and forth. Then, I get a text.

'Ross, settle down. I'm in the kitchen.' - Laura.

I sigh in relief and run downstairs, leaving my phone on the dresser.

Me- you scared the heck outta me, Laura!

Laura- well I just wanted to make breakfast.

I see her cook eggs, bacon and toast.

Me- do you possibly need any help?

Laura- yes, please. You can cook the bacon.

Me- oh my gawd Laura, it's so good.

Laura- thanks.

Me- did you see Riker and Vanessa last night?

Laura- yeah, did you see them this morning? They were sleeping together.

Me- yup..

Laura- what's wrong?

I really want to ask the most important question but I can't. It's not time.

Me- I want to take you out...on a date tonight. Just you and me.

I see her smile. And just to let you know, that wasn't the question.😉

Laura- I'd love to. Where though?

Me- how about a picnic. Don't worry about everything. Ill bring the food, blanket and everything we need.

Laura- okay. Can't wait.

I finish eating and go home so we can prepare.

Me- hey, Rydel?

Rydel- yeeeeeeeppp??

Me- can you help me--

She hands me a piece of paper and package. She disappears into her room and I jump on my bed.

I open the piece of paper.

It read;

Okay Ross, I knew you needed help with a date because Laura texted me, lol. Anyways, since your taking her to a picnic, take her to the place with lake so you guys can swim and the place also has a hotel nearby just incase;).

Okay in the package, there's flavored and unflavored -C's-.

You know, if you get that far after you propose. But you should wait until your married. Don't make the same mistake like Riker did with Julie...

In the package, there's also the royal blue, texturized ring box for the ring. And the ring is inside. Don't forget it or you're gonna be totally doomed for life.. Jokes...

So, I hope you have everything planned. You know, the date and all. But if you don't, give me a buzz.

and if you're wondering why I have you a letter, it's because I lost my voice... JK.... I'm tired of talking all day and you would have been asking so many damn questions.
