Laura's POV

I reached for the tree but I lost my balance and....

I fell back and landed on my back. I also hit my head. I heard someone crying and screaming my name. I think it was Ross.

Everything went black..

I woke up in a white room. A hospital maybe.

I saw someone in the room. She was in a white coat and had a face mask and was holding a clipboard.

She saw I was awake and opened the door talking to someone.

Someone came in and ran to me . He held my hand and started to speak.

Guy- Im so happy you're okay.

Me- well thanks for caring. But who are you?

His eyes went bold and tears started streaming down his face. I didn't pull my hand away. He's really cute.

Guy- I'm Ross! Your Best friend in the whole world! Please. Don't forget me. I can't loose you another time. I lost you already once!

Me- I'm really sorry, Ross. I don't remember.

Ross- please...

His please faded and his head dropped. I bit my lip and I fell really bad. I mean I don't remember him and the least I could do is this.

I squeezed his hand making him look up.

Me- I might not remember you but.. Ill give you a shot to help me.

Ross- okay.

Me- please don't cry.

I wiped away his tears with my sheets.

The doctor walked in.

Doctor- I'm guessing you already found out about her memory loss.

Ross- yes.

Doctor- there's a chance that she'll get it back but it's one in a million chance.

Ross- oh.

Doctor- mr. Lynch, she will be fine. Just don't put too much pressure on her. Like for example don't get frustrated at her.

Ross nodded and drove me back home.

We got into the house and a bunch of other people ran over to me but Ross was like a body guard. Geez.

Ross- guys, give her space. She um lost her um memory.

Everyone backed away while Ross pulled me up to his room.. I think.

He closed the door behind us and we sat on his bed.

Ross- okay. Your name is Laura Marie Marano.

Me- Laura? It's pretty.

Ross- yes it is.

Me- *smile*

Ross- your mom and dad died, your sister Vanessa is at your home.

Me- oh.

Ross- oh and the people downstairs is my family. Rydel, Riker, Rocky, Ryland, Ratliff, my mom and my dad- Stormie and Mark.

Me- they must be really nice people. Since they're related to you.

Ross- thanks. *laughs*

Me- so what else. What about the stuff you said at the hospital?

Ross- well we were going out then I made a huge mistake by calling you and saying things that I shouldn't have. Then we ignored each other for two months then you gave me another chance by being friends.

Me- Ross, I still love you. I mean, after I saw you in the hospital it was Love At First Sight.
