Off went my alarm waking me up from my dream.
I strolled to the bathroom and started brushing my teeth. As I was rinsing my mouth, Stiles walked in yawning.
"Good morning!" He exclaimed in the middle of his yawn.
"Morning," I said as he hugged me. I left as he brushed his teeth and changed into some clothes. I was not looking forward to today. I didn't want to see Isaac after what happened Friday night; complete and utter embarrasement, and shame. I was probably the only girl who would ever react to Isaac Lahey doing that. Every girl in town probably dreams of him everyday and every night and I had my chance but I blew it. I'll be the laughing stock of the school now; great.
I entered school with Stiles through the front doors and waited for the harsh and judgemental looks but there were none. I felt relieved; Isaac didn't tell anybody I was such a disappointment.
I went to my locker and grabbed my first period things. I slammed it shut then walked to first period. I passed by a dark unused classroom and heard two very familiar voices.
"Allison, you're dating Scott and I couldn't. I really like Ara." I heard someone say.
At this point, I peered through the window and I saw Allison press the tips of her fingers onto his chest, making her way upwards. I only saw the back of him but it was distinct. "But you've barely known her. You know me more than her. And plus, remember our summer fling?" I heard Allison say. I gasped and jumped and she noticed me and made eye contact me then ignored me and went back to him.
"I do and that was wrong of me and you. Allison, I can't okay? Accept it and move on," he said.
"I can't Isaac! I just can't!"
"Why?"
"Because I love you!" she blurted out then covered her mouth. My jaw dropped as well.
Isaac sighed. "Well, I'm sorry but I don't love you. I know that Ara and I have a chance," and he stood up to walk away.
I saw Allison thinking hard about what to say next and then she yelled,
"Ara couldn't even have damn sex with you but you still want her?! That's NOT the Isaac Lahey I know!"
I gasped and covered my mouth, and had salty tears gliding down my skin and was hoping Isaac couldn't hear me.
"Ara changed me."
"Yeah, I see that. And I hate her for it!" She yelled and finally finished and stomped off. She saw me and gave me a disgusted look then left. I pressed my back against the wall and sunk down and balled up and cried.
I heard Isaac's footsteps coming towards the door. "Ara!" he exclaimed and crouched beside me. "I'm so sorry about Allison. She was being a total bitch," he said and wiped away the tears with his soft, supple hands.
I sniffled.
"Did you mean it?" I questioned him.
"Mean what?"
"That I changed you and that we have a chance?" I said breaking into a faint smile.
He nodded and sat beside me.
"Yes. Every single word. Excuse me for being too forward, but you put me in a gaze Ara," he whispered at the end and smirked.
I sighed with relief and smiled at the ceiling then grabbed his face and pressed his lips onto mine. He kissed me back with passion and ran his fingers through the side of my head through my hair. I pulled away slowly then whispered,
"Let's take this home," and I grinned and bit my lip.
He nodded slowly and chuckled. "You sure?"
I nodded. We stood up, hand in hand and drove to my place. Stiles dad was at work so we were alone. And this time, I am not screwing it up.
