How did Isaac just shapeshift?

I think about everything happening... What the hell is going on? I need an answer.

"Ara, I can explain..." Isaac said holding my hand.

I nodded my head and let him talk. I had to hear the story. As he started, two others came up to us; Scott and some other guy.

"Who's this?" I asked.

"Derek Hale."

I shook his hand and stared at him; well built, charming and seems a little tense, he definitely looks like he could ease up.

"Isaac? Who's this girl you wanted to save?" Derek asked him, staring at me.

"This is Ara. She's new to Beacon hills," Isaac said as I waved.

"Well are you going to tell her the story?" Derek asked frustratingly. Isaac nodded and turned back to me and told me everything. Scott was bit by Derek's uncle, who was an Alpha but Derek's the current alpha. Isaac joined Derek's pack with Scott when he was in sophomore year. Isaac told me about his dad beating the crap out of him. He'd lock him in a freezer, and Isaac was afraid of closed spaces. I teared up and hugged him as he said that with fear. And they lastly mentioned Derek's whole family died in a fire set by the Argents. Wait...

"The Argents?!" I ask in shock.

Isaac nodded his head sadly.

"The same Argents?" I ask again.

Isaac nodded again with Scott.

"Allison Argent..."
