Kid had been out for so long, all I could do was sit here and hope for the best. Its been days since I have eaten and all I wanted was to see Kid's beautiful eyes again.
All I wanted was to kiss him and give him a hug.
Kid...please don't leave me here alone.
Kid's POV:
I heard someone talking in the background of my mind. I tried to ignore it, I started to notice other things.
A faint beeping.
The strong chemical smell.
Blankets over me.
"Kid...please wake up..." I heard in the distance, everything sounded like it was underwater.
"He has been under for so long, how do we know he can hear us?" I heard a familiar voice say...it sounded like Patty.
"He has to wake up"
Maka?
I felt something squeeze my hand, I recognized it as a hand. Maka are you there?
"Come on, we should go. Maka do you want to come?" I heard Liz's voice say
"No. I'll stay here" Maka said quietly, I heard a door open and close. A quiet came over the room.
I soon heard a soft crying sound, no. More like a sobbing sound. Kid. wake up for shits sake.
I felt like I surfaced at that moment. I took a deep, painful breath and made my eyes flutter open. Light filtered into my squinting gaze. Damnit
"Kid...please don't go...I love you I can't loose you now. Not after all we have been through" I heard Maka say through her sobs. I have never seen her cry like this before.
I soon was able to control all of my limbs, sounds and colors were now in focus. I raised my hand and stroked Maka's hair very softly.
I felt her freeze, then her head snapped up, her hopeful and tear stained gaze looked into my tired eyes.
No words were said, Maka crashed her lips onto mine and kissed me roughly. My hand went to her hair and I held her closer. I was still stiff but I would manage as I kissed her back passionately. It felt like a reunion kiss.
Maka pulled away and started to cry again, resting her head on my chest.
"YOU ABSOLUTE FOOL! WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE UP!" Maka screamed into my chest, she looked up at me again, a wide smile across her face, "Don't you ever do that to me again!"
I groaned because of the loud noise but I chuckled softly, "I love you too Maka" I said softly, my voice sounded underused and dry but it was far from dull.
Maka laughed out of joy and wrapped her arms around my shoulders tightly, I put my hands on her waist and pulled her closer. Damn I missed you Maka. It hasn't been a long time but it has felt like forever.

It was late in the afternoon, by then everyone had found out I was awake. Even my father came to see me, his large hand rested on my head lightly when he spoke to me.
I was up and moving, soon I was going to be sent home. Liz and Patty had decided to crash at Tsubaki's place so Maka and I could have some time on our own.
I had also found out that I was out for four days, Maka had also been in a coma but she had woken up after two days.
Right now I was standing beside Maka at the front desk at the hospital. Our hands were entwined so we never left each other's side.
"Alright Death the Kid, you are free to go" the bored looking receptionist said to us and handed me some medical papers. I nodded my thanks and walked out, pulling Maka behind me.
I wrapped my hand around her waist and pulled her closer as we walked down the road. I snapped my fingers and called my Skateboard.
"uh Kid, are you sure you should be doing that?" Maka said concerned
"Of course, come on" before she could say anything I picked up Maka bridal style and shot off down the road. Maka was squealing in shock and delight, her laugh sending shivers down my spine. Maka...please never leave me.
"Come on Maka, I am fine. I have a reaper body remember?" I said re-assuredly as we stepped inside my home. I flipped on the lights but the place was already illuminated by the soft glow of the setting sun.
We walked to the dining room, the flowers in the room made the room smell like a tropical haven.
I couldn't notice that though, my eyes were on Maka. I had my hands on her waist and her hands were around the back of my neck. I smirked but backed away from her. A frown crossed her face as I made my way across the room and pulled out the radio.
I turned the music to something more dance worthy.
I turned back to Maka, her frown was gone and replaced with a dazzling smile. I walked back over to her and took her hand, pulling her closer by her waist. Her hand held mine tightly and she rested the other on my shoulder. My head was buzzing.
My forehead rested on hers as we swayed to the tune of the music. About half way through the music I couldn't control myself anymore.
I leaned down and kissed Maka softly, putting both my hands on her waist I pressed my body against her's. She responded by pulling even closer to me, kissing me back just as passionately. She leaned back and I leaned in even more, I trailed kissed down the side of her neck and she sighed softly.
Her hands ran through my hair and my lips connected with her's again. We both backed up and we soon hit a wall, I swiped my tongue over Maka's bottom lip and she opened her mouth. I slipped my tongue inside her mouth and we explored each other's mouth for a while.
I broke off the kiss, we were both gasping for air but smiling like idiots. Her eyes were glowing in the dying light and I kissed her again, I couldn't get enough of her.
She was my everything.
She is my world.
Maka you are my world.
The kiss got even more heated and my hand slipped down and caught her leg, lifting it to rest on my hip. My lips connected with her neck again and I bit her skin softly. She giggled and ran her hands through my hair again, one hand up my back.
"Maka" I whispered to her, she shivered as I kissed her neck even more.
She let out a soft moan as my hand traveled up her bare back. I placed my mouth back on her's and bit her lips softly, she laughed and kissed me firmly.
"Yes Kid?" she said softly against my mouth
I caught both of her legs and lifted her up the wall, she squeaked in surprise and her legs draped around my waist.
"I love you"
