Emily – Alternate

"Here's some clothes for her," Sean put down some old cleats and shorts and tshirt. "I'm good in what I have on."

He'd agreed to pose as Ian for the day, and we were hoping practice would be cancelled for tomorrow, and Emily S. would pose as Sean. "Ok, let me do her first to make sure I can get it right. Yours will be easier."

Dad assured me that a glamour spell was easy enough, and I didn't need to be a witch to cast it. I hoped he was right. I handed the clothes to Emily S. and she went to change. I got everything ready for me while she was in another room, and tried not to laugh when she came back in.

"You're so big," she looked at Sean.

"Same size as your brother?" he seemed to be holding back laughter of his own.

"I guess," she shrugged. She'd also taken some of the potions Brody told us about to dull her pain of being separated from her Nate, and I could tell she was doing better. "If I wear guys clothes, it's Nate's, not Sean's. But, his are huge on me."

"Let's see if you can look like me," Sean challenged.

I shook my head at him, then started the spell. I was confident in the one to make Sean look like Ian, all I had to do was change his face for the day. Emily S., well, I had to make her grow as well. Sean's at least six inches taller than we are. I finished the words, then ran my hands over her face, and waved them down her body.

Closing my eyes, I stepped back from her. I was afraid to look up at her until I heard all three guys, Sean, Brody P., and Nate, start to laugh. It was Brody P.'s voice that opened my eyes. "I don't think any timeline is ready for two Seans."

"I did it!" I clapped and jumped up and down just like I was a little kid.

"You sure did," Emily S. said in her own voice.

"Oops," I giggled at myself and touched her throat. "Ok, now try it."

"Yeah, that's better," she grinned.

Brody P. snapped a quick picture while Emily S. and Sean were standing together. I had a feeling he was sending it home to see if they could tell the difference. "Alright, money on the fact that her Nate knows who is who just from looking," I looked back at Brody P. then at the others.

"You're on," Brody P. grinned.

"I bet he won't," Nate stepped forward and slapped some money down on the counter. "I've known him," he pointed at Sean, "all my life and right now, I have no clue which is which."

"I bet he knows," Sean put down his own money.

"I think you're crazy," Nate shook his head and watched as I transformed Sean into Ian. "Any response?" he turned to Brody P.

"And, our winner is Sean," Brody P. grinned and turned his phone around to prove it. "He knew his girl was the one on the left."

"How?" Nate was stunned. "It was a freakin' picture!"

Brody P. shrugged. "He probably closed his eyes and concentrated. When they're in the same timeline, they can find each other just by thinking. They're scary."

"Man, I am so glad there's no girl who can know where I am all the time," Nate mumbled and sat down at the table. "Drama!"

Sean shook his head. "Dude, don't even start, because I don't want to drag out things that don't need to be said here, alright?"

"Shutting up," Nate held out his hands in surrender.

I may have wondered if this had something to do with that nice little half fairy, but I wasn't going to ask. If anyone could honestly get Nate into line, it was Sean. And I wasn't totally sure I wanted to know what was going on. Probably just Nate feeling a bit of his bad boy ways. I knew if something had happened with his sister, they would have told me.
