Josh's P.O.V

I walk to my class anxiously.
I'm hoping this girl is okay, she took a pretty hard fall to the ground. She seemed so delicate. She was short, about 5'0 and small. She had short spiky dark purple hair and pale skin and extremely dark brown eyes. Her eyes, her eyes were beautiful, entrancing. But there was something about them that seemed sad and broken. She had purple and blue colors circling the under of her eyes, like she hadn't slept in days.

I look down down at my schedule. The number on the piece of paper matches the upcoming class I'm supposed to enter. It looks like it already started. Shit.

I break into a jog to save a few seconds of missing my first class of the year. I hope Tyler has this class too.
I stumble as I enter the classroom. The whole class looks up and stares at me.

A lady with long blonde hair and square glasses looks towards my direction and smiles. She looks like she should be a lawyer or something. She wears a navy blue pencil shirt with a white long sleeved blouse with a blazer tied to her waste. She looks around maybe in her early 30's.

"Class, we have a new student. This is- honey pardon me but what's your name?"
"Huh? Oh Joshua. Joshua Dun."
"This is Joshua. Tell us a little about yourself Joshua."
Almost all heads in the room turn to me.
"Um, hi I'm Josh," Idiot they already know that.
"And I like to play drums and dye my hair crazy colors."
The class kind of just stares at me, some of them just not caring one bit. Good. No attention is better than any.
My eyes dart across the room looking for Tyler.
Please let him be in here please. Finally I find the familiar face grinning at me. I smile back at him.

"Alright Josh why don't you go sit next to Tyler, the one to the left corner."
I love this teacher already.
Awkwardly I walk over to the empty seat next to Tyler, and slowely sit down.

Tyler leans over and whispers, "Welcome to my world of hell." He says smiling.
I laugh quietly.
"Glad I could join you."
"Dude where have you been all morning? I texted you and was looking for you but I couldn't find you."

I feel a pit of guilt. I was supposed to text Tyler telling me where he was and if I could find my classes fine. I felt lucky to have a friend who cared about me so much.

"Sorry just this girl fell and screwed up her knee so I walked her to the nurses and walked her to her class after."
"Your first day here and girls are already falling for you, such a ladies man." He says while shaking his head.

"Oh shut up." I say while punching him in the shoulder.
"Was she hot? What's her name? You into her?"

"Kinda yeah, Cassidy, and dude I just met her I don't know."
Tyler's eyes widen in interest.
"Hold on what'd she look like."
"Well she had dark purple spiky hair, kind of pale skin, brown eyes. Wore a hoodie."
Tyler starts laughing.
"What's so funny?
"Dude that's Jenna's best friend."

Jenna was Tyler's girlfriend. They've been together for around maybe four months now. I felt happy for Tyler. Jenna was what Tyler needed. He'd been going through a rough time so when him and Jenna met she instantly made him happier. They clicked so well.

"And? Why's that funny?"
"Because you gotta liittle cruush on Caassidyy." He joked while nudging me.
I felt my face starting to turn red.

"Shut up Tyler I literally just met her I don't even know her."
"But you will." He did this weird wiggle thing with his eyebrows.
"Your so weird."
"That's why ya love mee."
I roll my eyes and laugh.
"Hey you can get to know Cas at lunch today, she always sits with me and Jenna." He sounded exited about it. I don't get him sometimes.

"Hey Ty, can I copy off your answers for the next test? Oh hey new kid." A voice slurs from behind us.
I turn around to see who the voice belonged to and the first thing I noticed  was his insanely large forehead.
I'm not even joking this guy had the biggest forehead I've ever seen.
Besides his gigantic forehead, he had big fish lips and large brown eyes, with black hair pushed up into a quiff thing. He wore a grey tank top with black skinny jeans.

"Yeah sure thing Brendon. Oh Josh this is Brendon. Brendon, Josh, Josh, Brendon."
"Hey man, how's it going." Brendon nods to me.
"Good. And you?"
"Eh. I'm really hungover." He replied chuckling. "But it's fine. So, I hear you gotta crush on Cas huh?"
"Yeah uh I-."
"Say no more, I can already see it."
"But you haven't even seen us interacting."
"I know but just trust me I already know." He says while wiggling his eyebrows. Why does everyone do this to me.
Tyler tries to stop himself from bursting out into laughter.
"Okay thanks for the information." I say sarcastically.
"Anytime sweetie." He says batting his eyelashes and winking.
I knew from this point on this guy I could get along well with.
