"And your receipt is in the bag. You have a lovely day." I said, smiling as I handed the bag over to the elderly man across the counter from me. He smiled and thanked me, taking a quick glance at my name tag. I quickly took the few seconds to check my watch. 8:30pm. 45 minutes to go. I hated working late nights on Thursdays. They always seemed to drag and it always stuffed me around with starting work while it was light then leaving when it was dark.

I smiled as the next customer took a step up to the counter. He would have been in his 20's with blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Hi, how are you today?" I asked, grabbing the first of their items and scanning it.
"I'm good thanks, Anna." He replied, leaning forward slightly and reading my tag. I smiled at him, and continued to scan the rest of his items.
"That's good. Have you been busy today?" I questioned, going through my usual questions, anything to make the day go faster.

There was no reply, so I paused and looked up at the man standing in front of me. His blue eyes stared at me, the look on his face was unreadable.
"Sorry. I don't mean to intrude." I whispered, quickly moving on with his other items.

"My day has been busy. I've been preparing for the weekend, but it seems that the weather may not be the best so I may have to move my plans forward." I quickly glanced up, he was still staring at me just as intensely as before.
I nodded in response as I placed his items in the bag.
"Alrighty then, that comes to..."
"Are you working again on the weekend?" He interrupted me. I glanced up at him, unsure of why he was suddenly engaging me in conversation.

Slightly stunned I just stared at him. He raised his brow in anticipation.

"Um, yeah I am." I replied, slightly shaking my head to try and concentrate again. I looked back to the computer screen and looked at the total that was on the screen.

Another man walked over to the one I was serving. They shook hands and whispered together quickly.

"Sorry, that comes to $59.70, was that cash or card?" I asked leaning forward slightly, and looking between the two.

The new man looked at me, and slightly leaned forward, he raised his hand and grabbed the slide of my fringe and twirled in in his fingers. I pulled back and stared at him.

"Cash thanks." The first man said, holding the $100 note up to his face. I pressed the few buttons that I needed to and processed the sale. Giving him his change

"She's perfect." I heard the new one whisper to the blonde man. I looked up at him as he made eye contact with me. I felt my mouth open slightly, words couldn't come out my mouth.

I reached forward and grabbed his receipt, and placed it in the bag. I lifted the handles and brought it forward, towards the man. He reached out and grabbed it. His fingers brushing over mine.

"You have a good night Anna." The newer one said, his eyes never leaving me.
"See you soon." The blonde one said sending me a wink. For a second I was puzzled that he said he'd see me soon, but I brushed off the uneasy feelings for just put it down to me saying that I was working the weekend and that he would be back.

I smiled as they walked out the store, shaking my head slightly, the feeling in my stomach didn't feel nice and left me shaken for the rest of my shift.

I clicked the door lock in and walked towards the after hours exit. My shoes clicked against the floor and I pulled my cardigan around my shoulders tighter, the wind that greeted me at the door was freezing. I paused for a moment as a security guard generally waited to walk staff to their cars. I glanced around and couldn't see anyone.
They must be seeing other people to their cars. Quickly glancing at my watch I groaned, not wanting to waste time and to leave. I shook my head. I'm not waiting.

I grunted, absolutely hating the company work policy of knee high pencil skirts, and high heels. Pulling my keys out my handbag I went Wolverine style, tucking my keys through my fingers as protection.

I walked across the car park to the furthest point away from the shopping centre. The car park was more or less abandoned at this time except for a few people like me leaving work, ready to head home to bed. Tonight there seemed less than usual. I shook my head, putting it down to the fact that I was leaving a further 30mins after my shift had actually finished.

I grunted as the rain began to fall heavily, my cardigan quickly soaked through and I could feel the bitter chill nipping at my skin. I inwardly smiled as I saw my car, parked the furthest away, due to the fact that customers seemed unable to read the "staff parking" signs that were littered all around the area, which made it so hard to get a park.

Just as I reached my car I swung my handbag off my shoulder so that it would be easier to throw into the front seat. I untucked my keys from my fingers and picked out my car key.

Before I really knew what was happening the wind was knocked out of me as I was rammed into the side of my car, dropping my keys in the process. I cried out in pain, but my mouth was soon smothered by a hand and then tape and my arms held down by my side.

It was dark and I couldn't see anyone in front of me that would be able to help me. I screamed as loud as I could but whoevers hand was on my mouth stopped any noise coming out, as well as the tape.  I panicked and began struggling as hard as I could. I quickly pushed back and the person allowed it. I threw my elbow back and hit them in the ribs, earning a grunt of pain from them. I broke their contact and sprinted as fast as I could, well as fast as I could run in heels whilst looking like a retarded dinosaur.

I pulled desperately at the tape on my mouth, but my high heel snapped and I fell to the ground in a puddle, cutting my knees and bruising my elbows. I whimpered and struggled to get up but I was pushed back to the ground, someone put their knee in the middle of my back and held me in place whilst someone else came and tied up my hands behind my back.

"Calm down. If you keep struggling we will have to give you this." Someone said holding a needle with liquid in it in front of my face. I struggled in their arms, trying desperately to get out of their grip, but I couldn't. There was so much adrenaline pumping through my body that I couldn't even feel the cold or the wet any more.

"Come on, up you get." Someone said, pulling on my hands which were tied up behind my back to pull me up. My eyes quickly scoped the area looking for anyone who was there that could help me. I stopped, when I saw his face. The young mans friend from in the shop earlier. I stared at him as even more panic began to set into my chest. His hand grabbed my cardigan and pulled it open slightly. He looked at my chest at the few buttons on my shirt that had popped revealing my bra. Tears ran down my cheeks when he ran a finger over the top of the bra.

"She's perfect." He said to the person behind me seconds before he pulled a bag over my head.
