Chapter 48

I was semiconscious, I was fighting with absolutely everything I had to stay as awake as I could. I could feel Alexander walk me into the room where everyone was.
"What the fuck!" Someone yelled, everyone in the room quietened down and I could feel all their eyes on me.
"What happened?" Nico asked, his voice getting louder as he approached us.
"I found her like this in the hallway. She's been drugged." Alexander said moving again.

"Take her to the room. I want this person found. Bring them to me." Nico said, authority clear in his voice.
"You hear me!" Nico yelled. I could hear movement, then silence.
"Alexander, can you find out what she was given?" Nico asked gently touching my cheek.
"I can run some tests." He replied.
"I can help, just let me know what you want done. I'll go to my room and grab some stuff." Pascal said, I heard footsteps run off down the stairs.
"I'm gonna kill this son of a bitch." Kevin said walking up to us as well.

It seemed to move quickly, either that or I blacked out for a moment, but before I knew what was happening I felt myself being laid down on the bed.

"Lower level and mechanics have been cleared." David said entering the room. I felt someone climb onto the bed next to me, pulling me onto them slightly.
"Fucking find them. I don't care what it takes." Nico said behind me, moving some hair away from my face.

"It was some form of sedative. Until I get the blood results back I can't be certain of what it was. I guess he gave it to her in the shot, the drug mixed with alcohol would have caused the reaction to quicken." Alexander said, I could feel movement on my arm, and a slight sting.

I could feel hands touching me, and I moved to push them away, albeit weakly.
"Hey, hey, hey, Anna, shhh. It's okay." Nico whispered grabbing my hands and holding them to my chest. I could feel his arm under my neck, and my head on his chest as I became more aware.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was laying on Nico and my bed. Alexander, Kevin and Pascal stood by the side and at the foot of the bed.
"What happened?" I asked, pulling a hand from Nico and rubbing my forehead.
"You were drugged." Alexander responded turning around and dropping a small vile of blood into a bag.
"What the fuck did you do to me?" I accused pulling back into Nico who grabbed my wrists again and held them tightly to my chest, pulling me into him.

"Alexander didn't do anything to you Anna. We are lucky he found you when he did." Kevin said sitting down on the bed and putting his hand on my leg.
"We took some blood to run some tests, to find out what was used and make sure that you'll be okay." Pascal said stepping forward and taking the bag from Alexander.

Our attention was drawn to the door as David quickly barged in, panting.
"We've found him."
My head spun to Kevin, who stood and nodded before looking to Nico.
"I'll get my knives." He said before turning and leaving the room.

"Before anything happens I need to talk to him." Nico said moving behind me so I was laying on the bed as he climbed off it. I reached for his hand, desperately trying to hold onto it to stop him leaving me.
"Anna, please. We will be back when this is sorted." He said sternly.
Tears welled in my eyes at the thought of being alone.
"No Nico please, don't leave me." I whispered, my voice wavering with emotions.
Nico turned to look at me briefly before turning away again as if looking at me like this pained him.
"I have to Anna. We will be back soon." He said, turning and walking out the room.

Tears ran down my face as I stared at the door.
"Is there anyone you want me to get to stay with you while this happens?" Alexander asked pulling the blanket up over me.
I sniffled and turned to Alexander.
"They'll most likely need us down there." He said gently, nodding to Pascal.
"Ford and David please." I whispered, shifting my eyes to him. He simply nodded and moved to the door, taking the bag from Pascal and leaving the room.
