I woke up with a start, sitting straight up in the bed. My head was throbbing and I felt dizzy. I whimpered and pulled my knees to my chest and rested my head in my hands. I had played a part in killing a man. Tears welled in my eyes as I struggled to blink them back. I looked around the room I was breath-taken by the size and beauty. I looked at the sofa, Armie sat with his head down.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I demanded, moving out of the bed and standing in front of him. He smiled up at me.
"Good morning. It's good to see you're awake. Are you hungry?" He asked as if nothing was wrong.
I scoffed, "how could I possibly eat after I killed a man..." I said initially defiantly, then ending in a whisper. I felt my lip tremble and tears pricked my eyes again.
Without saying anything Armie stood up and pulled me into his arms. He held me tightly and gently ran his hands over my back.

"You played no part in that." He said, I could feel him looking down at me. Tears ran down my cheeks and I moulded into Armie's arms. Allowing the sobs to rack my body.
"Have they gone?" I asked pulling away and looking up to him. Armie nodded.

"Can I please use your phone to call Henry?" Armie half smiled, and pulled me back into the hug.
"His phone would be on silent right now. It's best he not be disturbed with this business." I nodded against his chest.

I quickly pulled away out of Armie's grip, taking a couple of hurried steps back to the bed.
"I need to be alone." I said, knowing that it barely came out above a whisper. Armie nodded, and stepped forward.
"I'd like for you to come with me. I don't want to be a dick but remember what Henry said? You either pretend to be with me or you stay locked up in the room."

"I'd prefer to be locked in the room if I'm being honest." I retorted. Armie scoffed, "I'm guessing you didn't hear what Max added on to that then?"
I looked at Armie confused, shaking my head.
"He said that if you chose to stay in the room that you'd be tied to the bed and drugged." I felt my jaw drop open at his words.
"That fucking bastard!" I screamed, standing up and pacing next to the bed.
Without saying anything Armie gently grabbed my arm and stopped me from pacing.
"Have a shower and get dressed. We're going out for breakfast." He said before guiding me to a door and opening it. Inside was the bathroom. I turned to him and watched as he opened another door which lead to a walk in wardrobe.
"Shower, then dressed. I'll be waiting on the sofa." Armie said then walked over to the sofa and sat down.

I shook my head at him and walked into the walk in wardrobe. I grabbed some clothes and walked into the bathroom, shutting and locking the door.

Looking into the mirror, I looked tired. Which was insane seeming as I had been drugged and slept a majority of the time. I quickly showered then got dressed and walked back out into the bedroom.

"I'm ready to go when you are." I said, standing awkwardly in front of the bathroom door. Armie stood up and walked over to me. He gently put his hand on my lower back running it around to my hip and guided me out the bedroom door and into a glass elevator.

"Why do we have to act as a couple?" I asked looking up at him, he smiled slightly then looked down at me.
"It's easier to explain why you always have someone with you." I nodded, it made sense. "Why do we have to do that? Why does it have to be you?"
Armie looked back down at me and avoided my questions as we reached the bottom floor and the lift doors opened.

"There are some lovely cafes close to here, and after that; if you're interested we can go look at a couple of shops." I nodded my head and followed Armie to the garage. When we got inside, he opened the car door for me and closed it gently behind me.

I could feel my heart thumping in my chest, I followed him with my eyes and watched him as he opened his door and sat in the car.
Wordlessly we drove to a big restaurant. Armie parked the car at the valet and quickly climbed out, handing the keys to the clerk. I followed his actions and got out of the car. He quickly made his way to me and gently placed his hand at the small of my back and guided me to the front of the restaurant.

"Welcome to The Goring Dining Room, do you have a reservation?" The young man greeting us asked.
I watched Armie as he pulled me in closer to him and looked down at me and smiled.
"Yes we do, it's under the name Hunter." I looked to the server who quickly flicked through a few pages before looking back up.
"Yes Mr Hunter. If you would like to follow me, we have put you in our most private space."
Armie nodded and gently pushed the small of my back, walking us forward so that we were following the server.

He lead us through the dining area. I stared at it in amazement as we passed through.
"Here we are. Can I start you with anything to drink?" The server asked as Armie moved me to a chair and pushed it in behind me.

"I will have a drip coffee. Darling, what would you like?"
I froze for a second and stared at Armie.
"Sorry, I haven't had a chance to look at the menu and I've never been here before." I said, quickly picking up the menu and looking at the options. I looked up to Armie smiling at me.

"Ahh, I'll just have the coffee as well please."
The server nodded his head at us both before moving away.

"The English breakfast is wonderful here. It has a little bit of everything." I nodded as I flicked through the pages of the menu.
"Uh, okay. If that's what you think is best." I said, reading over the details of the English breakfast.
Before too long the server came back with the coffees.
"Have you had enough time to decide?" He asked looking from me to Armie.
"Yes we have, we will take two of the English Breakfasts thank you." The server again nodded at us and took our menus before walking away.

I cupped the coffee in my hands and took a sip. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, breathing in the smell of the fresh coffee.

"What do you think so far?" Armie asked; gently taking my hand and holding it. I opened my eyes and looked at him.
"It's nice. Very posh, I don't feel like I fit in. I am really hungry though." I pulled my hand away and used it so I was fully cupping my coffee again.

Armie smiled and laughed.
"I figured you would be. They shouldn't be too long with the food." I nodded.
"So if you're the advisor, why are you here and not at the meeting with them?" I asked sipping my coffee again and looking to Armie.
He smiled at me and leant back slightly, he hung his arm over the back of his chair and scratched his chin with his other hand.
"The reason why I wasn't with them when you first came to us was because I was meeting with the potential partners. I've written up the contracts already so they don't need me for the meeting. If I'm being honest; I think I got the best part of this job." Armie said, sipping his coffee.
"What? Baby sitting?" I asked sitting to the side and sipping my coffee. Giving him as much sass as I could.

Armie laughed. "I'm out, having a wonderful breakfast with a beautiful woman. What more could I want?" I snorted and sipped my coffee.
"Flattery with get you nowhere." I said, sitting up as the servers arrived at the table.
They placed two big plates of food in front of us, as well as an assortment of pastries and fruit. I stared at the food in front of us. It looked amazing.

I quickly picked up my knife and fork and began cutting into the eggs and bacon in front of me. The food melted in my mouth and I couldn't help but moan slightly.
Armie chuckled "I like that sound." He said, laughing and then began eating. Smiling up at me every now again.

Suddenly, his phone started ringing. I looked up to him as he quickly wiped his mouth and answered the phone. Without saying anything to me, Armie stood up and walked around the corner slightly. I could still hear him on the phone.

"We need to go" Armie said walking back in to the room. I watched him as he quickly spoke to the servers then came back to me.
"Darling, we have to go, now." I nodded and stood up. The servers quickly rushed to our table and began boxing up the food.
"The remaining food, for take away sir. Your car is out the front and we will charge this to your account." One said giving Armie the bag.
Armie began moving us with one hand behind my back and towards the car.
