Chapter 19

I watched from the car as Henry took his phone call. Armie and Matt stood with him, answering randomly when he acknowledged them.
Max leant in next to me and gently grabbed my arm, I gasped not expecting it and pulled away.
"Don't give me trouble." Max said grabbing my leg and pulling me across the back seat towards him. He quickly smothered my mouth with his hand and pulled me out the car. He pushed me against the side of the car and lent up against me.

"This is business. Do not go fucking shit up like you did last time. Remember the in flight server?" Max said pushing his body into mine more. I nodded. Tears were welling in my eyes. Erik moved beside us and watched us and would occasionally look to Henry.

"Now, we are going to give you a choice. You can either take a sedative and wake up when we've arrived, or you don't, but you need to stay with us at all times, meaning Erik and I. You will be monitored and watched." Max said looking down at me. I nodded, my heart sinking at the thought of being on another flight when I'd previously got someone killed.

I paused and looked to Henry before turning back to Max and Erik.
"How will I stay with you?" I asked looking up at Max, he smiled and gently rubbed his body side to side along mine.
"Well, you'll sit on my lap, and be strapped to me. For the whole flight." Max whispered into my ear. I swallowed hard, the lump forming in my throat felt like it wouldn't go. Max gently began nuzzling into my neck and kissing it. I raised my hands to get ready to push him away but Erik grabbed my right arm and Max my left. He used his left hand to grab at my waist. Tears welled in my eyes and spilled down my cheeks.
"I'll take the sedative." I whispered looking away. Max nodded and guided me into the plane and back towards the bedroom.
I sat down on the bed and moved to the middle of it. Max sat down next to me and watched as Erik entered the room holding his little leather case. I could feel my heart hammering against my chest. Max gently placed his hand on my thigh and half smiled at me.

"Henry is gonna be mad at this." Erik said to Max while drawing up the needle. Max shrugged.
"Wait why is he going to be mad?" I asked pulling away from Max and looking at him. He quickly grabbed me and pulled me into him, holding me closely against his body.
"No" I whimpered, only to have my head cradled into him more. Erik leant forward and pushed the needle into my arm. I cried out as he injected the liquid.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Henry yelled, running into the bedroom, flanked closely by Matt and Armie. I could feel my body begin to go limp.
"This was not what we had agreed upon! This wasn't the course of action!" Henry yelled pushing Erik off the bed. Before anything more could be said, Erik plunged a needle into Henry's arm. His face said it all, this was not planned. Matt and Armie went to react but Max stopped them. I passed out in Max's arms.

I groaned as I woke up. My body was stiff and aching. I looked to my side at Henry. He too was waking up. When he realised where he was he rolled over and pulled me into him.
"I'm sorry. Drugging you was not part of the plan." I nodded in Henry's arms.
"They asked me. It was my choice." I whispered, snuggling into his arms slightly.

The door to the room opened and Max walked in. Henry sat up and immediately walked over to Max.
Without saying anything Henry swung a punch into Max's jaw. They both began grappling with each other.
"Stop!" I screamed, scrambling over the bed and pushing in between Max and Henry. I faced Max, with my back against Henry, quickly grabbing onto Max's wrists. Both immediately stopped and I could feel them staring down at me.

"Take a breather, both of you! You're being petty as fuck!" I yelled. I could feel someone grabbing onto my arm and pulling me out from between them. I turned to Armie who pulled me into his arms and away from Henry and Max.

"You're pissed off that they drugged you?! They have done it so many times to me!" I yelled pulling forward out of Armie's arms and standing back in front of them. I could feel Armie trying to grab me again but I shook off his hands.
Henry looked down at me and nodded. Taking a quick look at Max before walking to his usual spot in the plane.

"The plan is that once we land we will go home, and then later tonight we will go to a party. Just like the one we met at."

I looked to Henry. "An organised crime gathering." I said rolling my eyes. "Why the hell would I want to go to another one of those?" Leaning up against the side of the plane.

"We need to attend. As far as we are concerned it would be better if you were with us. All the big families will be there. We are announcing that we have taken over your fathers organisation and we are proposing another expansion." I nodded groaning when the seatbelt sign came on. I quickly moved and sat next to Henry and Armie and clipped up.

"Will he be there?" I asked looking down to my lap. Henry didn't respond.
"Ladies and gentlemen. We have begun our descent into San Fransisco."

The plane touched down and Henry immediately stood up and grabbed my hand, leading us out the plane and to a Land Rover. Matt and Armie followed immediately behind and climbed in the car before driving off.

"There will be someone there tonight that we want you to meet." I nodded, my stomach was churning all different ways.
