"Anna, what the hell were you doing down there?" Ford asked running after me and gently grabbing my arm. I turned and looked to him as I entered the seating area. David stood behind him, looking concerned.
"I'm doing business." I said bluntly, aggressively handing the papers to Ford. He didn't take them; only stared at me. Weighing up the challenge I had presented to him.
"They've agreed to my rules. They'll help." I said staring at Ford, hoping he would try and argue against me."They'll help?" Kevin asked walking into the room behind me. I turned and looked to him. He looked tired.
"Yes. They'll help." I said walking forward. Kevin looked down to me as I approached him.
"I'm going to see him." I whispered as I walked past him into the dressing room, pushing the paper in my hands against his chest. Kevin took them and held onto them.I walked into the bedroom, it was quiet and dark, except for a single light on in the corner. My stomach was in knots and I wasn't sure if I wanted to look at Nico. Scared that all I'd ever be able to see would be his bloodied face.
"Hopefully it won't scar too badly." Kevin said quietly, walking in behind me. I turned to him, tears running down my cheeks.
"I don't want to see the blood." I whispered, wrapping my arms around me. I heard Kevin exhale as he walked to me and wrapped me up in his arms. Hugging me tightly against him.
"He's been cleaned up. He's got a few bandages on him." He's sedated at the moment.
I pulled away from Kevin and looked at him.
"Erik was surprisingly helpful." Kevin said gently. I shook my head and walked towards the bed. Nico had several bandages on his face.
"I've contacted Mr Vizla, he's on his way with some more specialised medical supplies." I nodded, and gently grabbed Nico's hand."How far away is he?" I asked turning to the side and looking at Kevin.
"He should be here soon." I nodded my head and looked down.I felt Kevin walk up behind me and gently touch my arm.
"David and Ford have offered to watch in shifts until Vizla arrives. You've got to get some sleep." I nodded and let go of Nico's hand.
"Come on." Kevin whispered, putting his arm around my waist and walking me out of the room towards his. I winced as his hand banged against my side.
"Whoever has the first watch can start now. Wake the other up half way through." Kevin said to Ford and David who were sitting on the sofa. They simply nodded.Kevin shut his bedroom door behind us and moved me to the other side of the bed, pulling back the covers and gesturing for me to get in. Numbly, I flopped to the bed and rolled over so I was facing the middle. Kevin walked around the other side and got in. He pulled me into him and held me closely.
"Goodnight Anna." He whispered kissing my forehead. I closed my eyes and allowed the darkness to consume me.

I yawned and pulled the blankets up under my chin. I could feel Kevin closely behind me. His right arm under my neck holding my right hand which was tucked under my pillow, his left arm lazily dangled over my waist, our legs were a tangled mess. I could feel his breathing as his stomach and chest gently nudged me each time he took a breath.
I opened my eyes and wiped the sleep out of them. Kevin stirred, and moved his left arm so it was holding my right shoulder, pulling me into him more.
"You must have been tired." He whispered groggily.
"Whys that?" I asked turning my head to the side slightly.
"You didn't even wake up when the helicopter arrived." I sat up and looked at him.
"What?"
Kevin looked at me confused then sat up so he was leaning against the headboard.
"You didn't wake up when the helicopter arrived with Vizla. I didn't want to wake you so I snuck out." Kevin said, still with the confused look on his face.
"Is Nico?" I asked, pausing, unsure if I really wanted to know.
"He's okay. Vizla did some stuff and checked him over. He's fine. I mean, he'll be sore for a bit, and might have some scarring, but he's okay."
I let out a shaky breath I didn't know I'd been holding.
