The little boy flopped down on the bed next to me. “your pretty, what’s your name.” he asked.

I smiled at him, “I’m Beautiful.”

“I know that, but I asked what’s your name was.” He said.

I laughed at him, “My name is Beautiful sweetheart.”

He looked at me like I was crazy. “ok I'm going to call you Ms.Beautiful.”

“Boy I aint that old, so how bout you call me B. That’s my nickname.”

“ok.” He lifted up my hand and kissed it. “will you be my girlfriend?”

I tried my best not to laugh at him, Jayceon walked back into the room. “Lil man fail back she mines.”

Kameron looked at his daddy then at me. “is that true B?” he looked like his heart was about to be broken.

“no, late time I checked I was single.”Kameron had a big kool-aid smile on his face. Jayceon looked at me like he was ready to smack me.

“so we can go out?” he asked.

I kissed his cheek. “no I got my eyes on someone but we can be friends.” I said looking at Jayceon the whole time. “plus I'm a little too old, and school should be your main focus, deal?”

“deal, but if you and yo man don’t work out I'm here.” He kissed my hand again and I tried not to laugh.

Jayceon mushed the side of his head, “man stop tryin to push up on my women.” He tickled him and slammed him on the bed.  He stop and looked at me “and you was just going to let him take you from me?”

“what hes’s way cuter then you.” I shrugged.

“that it true daddy.” Kameron laid back beside me.

Jayceon smacked his lips and came and laid beside me. “Man whatever,  im sexy.” Lyfe walked in the room and Kameron ran straight to him.

“Uncle Lyfe!” Lyfe picked him up and hugged him.

“whats up little man, I havent seen you in a long time you went and got big on me.”

“nothing,” he looked behind Lyfe looking for something. “where is aunttie Kim?”

Lyfe put him down, “Shes in the room sleep go wake her up.” I watched Lyfe closely something wasn’t right.

“Lyfe whats wrong?” I asked him.

He sighed with glossy eyes. “Dre- Dre got shot.” The room was silent Lyfe was trying to fight back tears but it wasn’t working.

Jayceon just shook his head no. “Not my brother Dre. Man I just saw him yesterday.” His voice cracked a little bit. I reached over to hold his hand but he snatched it away, and gave me a nasty look.

My feelings are just a litle hurt. He was already fully dressed walking to the door. Lyfe held him back for a second. “don’t do nothing stupid. We dont know who did it so just chill. when we do you know its going to be handled.”

Jayceon kept looking forward. “I already know who did it.” He moved Lyfe arm and walked out of the room, with Lyfe not too far behind.

Man what the hell is going on, I’m lost on so many levels.

Kim walked in the room with Kameron by her side. “What’s wrong with them?” she asked. I looked at Kameron so she knew why i wasn’t about to say anything.

“Kam baby go get aunttie phone from the room.”

“Ok” he took off running.

“Quick” she said.
