I stir in bed before fluttering my eyes open and I take notice that I'm not in my room and I sigh, running my hands over the material of the silky sheets that engulfed my body.

my mind registers that I'm in Austin's room and I take in his smell from the pillows below me and I sit up, stretching before my feet hit the white fluffy rug and I squeeze my toes, the softness of the rug making me sigh.

I pull my hair into a bun before I lazily make my way across the room and I open the bedroom door to a very quiet house and I sigh, walking to the kitchen, noticing a note on the fridge.

Aquila,
I went to grab some things for breakfast. make yourself at home, I'll be back soon.
love, austin.

I smile at the note and I remove it from the fridge before throwing it away and I decide to take a quick bath before Austin would come home. I walk back to the room and I retrieve a pair of clothing followed by a towel.

I push open the door and my breath is taken away as I take in the view. the city was clear as day through the huge windows right behind the tub, which was in the middle of the room and I set my clothes and the towel on the steps and I begin to undress myself.

I begin the water before removing my undergarments. I notice a box of unused bath roses and I decide to throw them in, I'm sure Austin wouldn't mind. I remove my undergarments and I step in, letting my body sink and I rest my back against the cold tub and I close my eyes.

I push open the door to my condo, quiet as always and I set the groceries down on the counter and I notice the note I had left for Aquila was gone and I decide to wake her up in case if she decided to go back to sleep.

I knock softly, getting no response and I burrow my eyebrows, opening the door and I find an empty messy bed and I notice the door to the bathroom slightly cracked.

I laugh lightly. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." I say and she dips her body back into the water and she glares at me. I sit on the steps of the bath as she closes her eyes and leans her head back.

"are you just gonna sit there while I take a bath?" she asks, this time opening her eyes to look at me and I smirk. "I'll take that as a yes." she mutters, sitting up.
