"so she went home?" Zach says as he unpacks his suitcase and I sit beside it on the bed.

"yeah, two days ago. the apartment feels very empty." I laugh lightly and I watch him stuff his clothes back into his cabinets.

"then go visit her. I'm sure she misses you." he suggests and I shrug lightly, running a hand through my curls.

"yeah. anyway, how was Europe?" I ask and Zach stops what he's doing and he leans against his dresser.

"it was good. my mom and dad say hi by the way. they found a pretty cute loft in the city and you'd like Paris, you know." he says and an idea pops in my head.

"maybe. when are you going back?" I ask.

"maybe by the end of the year. Alex will be going back with me and so will Tiana." he says and I nod. I liked the fact that I didn't have to deal with all my friends at once. I liked that Zach and Alex were enjoying themselves across the world.

"about damn time she follows you." I tease and he rolls his eyes at me with a smile. "I'm just kidding, won't this be the first time your parents meet her ?" I ask and he nods.

"yeah and she's pretty nervous but I know they'll like her. she's amazing." he says with a grin and I laugh lightly at his corniness.

"wow, your love life has you wrapped around it's finger." I laugh and Zach chuckles lightly, knowing I was right.

"I could the say the same about you. I mean, this Aquila chick really has you feeling some type of way." he raises a brow and I shrug, unsure whether that was a good thing or not. Aquila was different.

"talking about Aquila, how about we arrange a double date? I would like for you to finally meet her, she's pretty great and you'd like her." I suggest and Zach nods in agreement.

"that sounds great. I'll talk to Tiana, I'm sure we'll be available tonight. that's if your girl is available too." he says and I pull out my phone from my pocket.

"I'll call her right now." I say and I proceed to stand up, walking out of Zach's room and I dial Aquila's number. it rings a few times before she answers.

"hello?" she says through the receiver and I grin, sitting on the couch.

"hey. hi." I say and I hear her chuckle on the other end and I smile to myself. "I was calling because my roommates are back from their summer vacations and I thought it would be nice if you met one of them and his girlfriend." I say, scratching the back of my neck.

"oh. yeah, that sounds good. when is this happening?" she asks and I catch a hint of anxiousness in her voice and I could tell she was oddly nervous.

"um, tonight?" I say, unsure.

"tonight, yeah, I think I can make it. do I have to dress up?" she asks and I could practically see her now, a light frown on her face, hoping I'd say no.

I grin. "yes. we're going all out and fancy." I say and I pull a leg over the other as I lean back against the couch.

she groans lightly but playfully. "alright, if you insist. is six okay?" she says.
