I sit with Austin's hands in mine and I reach over the table to grab his phone and he looks up at me as I grin back and he gives me a look.
I keep my hand in his and I open the snapchat app, leaning back a little to capture both our arms and our hands together and I add a cute caption before uploading it to his story and I close the app, setting his phone back on the table beside his arm.

"what was that all about?" he asks, playing with my fingers and I watch, shrugging lightly.
"you can look later." I say and he looks up at me and he nods. "what if they're going to bail?" I ask.
"baby, they won't and even if they did, we'll enjoy dinner together. just the two of us." he says before kissing my knuckles again and I nibble on my lower lip.
after a while, I watch a tall dirty blond boy and a skinny brunette, who was much shorter than him, walk up behind austin and the dirty blond boy squeezes Austin's shoulders, causing him to loosen his grip on my hand and I suddenly feel empty.
"hi, you must be Aquila." the brunette says, introducing herself as she extends her hand out to me and I smile at her, shaking her hand.
"I am." I say, shyly and she smiles at me. I couldn't help but take in what she was wearing and the way she looked, she was gorgeous.
"I'm Tiana." she says with a smile. even her name was gorgeous.
"nice to meet you." I say and she nods, sitting next to me and I look over at austin, who's talking to the dirty blond boy.
"Zach, this is my girlfriend Aquila." he says and Zach, the dirty blond boy, reaches out to me and shakes my hand. "Aquila this is Zach, my best friend." austin adds and I give Zach a smile.
"it's finally great to put a face on you. he won't stop talking about you." he says with a laugh as he sits beside austin and I couldn't help but blush a little at the fact that austin spoke about me to his friends.
we sit and wait for the waitress to come back and take our order and once she does, austin and I end up ordering the same meal, causing Zach to tease both of us and later we end up talking about college and personal issues.
after a while, austin checks the time and he informs me that it's almost ten pm and I tell him that we should get going and he lets Zach know, excusing ourselves from the table.
we make it outside and I get into the car after being escorted by austin and he holds the door open for me and later shuts it hard but softly and I watch him get into the driver's seat. he starts the car and he gets on the road.
