Bumaba ako sa floor namin. I still can't believe it. Di ako makapaniwala.

Oh ayaw mo lang talagang maniwala?

Naglalakad na ko papunta sa table ko ng may nakabangga ako. "Ay sorry." I said without looking.

"Ay chakaness! What happened girla?" Tanong ni Gelo. Siya pala nakabangga ko.

"Ha? Wala naman. Bakit?"

"Eh bat ganyan itsura mo?" He asked.

"Ay, wala 'to." I chuckled.

Pag-upo ko sa table ko sinundan din ako ni Gelo. "Osige hindi na kita kukulitin pero, tell me, pogi ba yung apo ng CEO?!" Kinikilig na tanong sakin.

My eyebrow raised. Si Ethan? Pogi? He's perfectly handsome. His face is almost perfect, his nose matangos, his strong jawline, fair skin. And most of all, his almost black eyes, iyun yung pinaka-gusto ko sa itsura niya, his eyes. His body, well-built, and he's also tall, he is probably 5'11" or 6'1" already, while me? Ugh, 5'5". Gelo raised his eyebrow. "Seriously? A Van Anderson? Ugly?"

"Yes. He's ugly as hell." Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Gelo.

He raised his hands, "Okay then, he's ugly. But I doubt it." He laughed.

"Gaga, may galit ka yata sa apo ng CEO." Dumating si Gen with Karen na tumatawa.

"Are you a man hater, darling?" Karen joked.

I smiled a bit, "Ate, if i am a man hater, then you think I will talk to Gelo?"

"Oh darling, Gelo is not a man." The 3 of us laughed hard. Burn, pinagkaisahan nanaman namin ni Gelo! Hahaha!

"Tse! Mga bully kayo!" Kunwari galit na sabi ni Gelo.

I laughed at him. "Baliw ka! Alam naman namin na ka-pederasyon ka!" Lalo pa kaming tumawa.

"Tse! Di ko na kayo ililibre mamaya!"

"Parang timang 'to! Joke lang eh!" Lalo kaming tumawa.

Then ate Cindy came. "Miles, tara may ipapakita muna ako sayo." She said, smiling.

"May ano, ate Cinds?" Tanong ni Gen. Oh. Hindi pa nga pala nila alam.

"She will be Sir Ethan's secretary."

They looked at each other and laughed hard! Damn this people! Hahaha!

"Ahh, kaya naman pala bitter. CPA tas naging secretary." Banat ni Gelo. Lalong tumawa si Gen and Ate Karen.

"Tsee!" I laughed with them. "Sige na, I'll see you guys later." I waved.

"Byeeeee. Wag mong patayin si sir ha. Hot yata eh!" Gelo winked. Gaga talaga to. Hahaha. Kung alam niya lang kung gano ka-hot-- ay shet ano ba 'tong naiisip ko! >_<

Habang paakyat kami ni Ate Cindy nagbilin na siya. All I have to do is always check his schedule, gawin yung pinapa-utos, dadaan muna sakin yung mga ipapasa sakaniya, ohh I think I like this one >:)

"Madali naman na 'to. Kayang-kaya mo na." Ate Cindy.

"Mas madali yata mag-debit credit ehhhh." I pouted.

She laughed, "Masasanay ka rin. After all, this is for you naman." Yes, she knows that I'm a Laurel. I think it's a good thing to be a secretary, you know all the things na pinag-gagawa ng boss mo sa loob ng kumpanya. *insert devilish smile here*

"This will be Sir Ethan's office," binuksan niya yung pinto ng 18th floor. "Buong floor na 'to is para lang sa CEO and sa secretary."

I gulped. S-so kami lang nandito? O.o

"Pero don't worry, may mga guards rin naman dito sa floor na 'to. So this table is yours." Sabay turo niya sa malaking table sa gilid. Okay naman yung work place ko. "Then nasa loob yung office mismo ni sir." Tinuro niya yung isang door na malapit sa may table. "I think you're gonna do good." She smiled.

I smiled back, "Thanks Ate Cinds."

"That's nothing. Give me a call pag may problema ka rito, alright?"

I nod.

"Sige, I'll leave you here na. Pwede ka ng mag-transfer ng things mo ngayon para maayos mo yung table mo." She said then she waved goodbye.

I sit on my chair. Gaaaahd, nakaka-stress ngayon araw -___- Imma call Sunny and ask her to go to the spa with me *u*

Kinapa ko yung phone ko. Dang, nasa bag ko nga pala. I'll call her later na lang. I closed my eyes and sighed.

This is it. Wala na talagang urungan 'to.

Nakaramdam ako ng presence na malapit sakin. I opened my eyes and gasped. Ethan's face is just a few inches away from me. How come that I didn't hear him coming?!

"W-what are you doing?!" I said.

"I should be the one who's asking you that. You shouldn't be sleeping on office hours." He said.

Napahiya naman ako sa sinabi niya. I can feel na namula ako. "I-i uhm, Sorry." I mumbled.

Sumandal siya sa may table, his hands in his pocket. "I don't accept apologies." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes heavenwards. "What do you want, Ethan?"

"You."

My heart raced as I heard that. Ano bang problema neto? "Tss. Shut up."

"You left. Without a word nor a warning." He said. Parang may halong lungkot sa boses niya.

I sighed. Ayoko munang pag-usapan yon. Matagal na oo, pero after 7 years, ngayon lang ulit magkikita. Alam ko na hindi pa ko ready na ma-open ulit yung topic na yun. "Ethan, let's be professionals here, i-set aside natin yung personal problem natin sa trabaho. Besides, I-i'm sure nakamove-on na tayong pareho," I managed not to stutter as I said those words, dahil kapag nangyari yon, I might burst out my tears. "Right?" He called me Claire. My heart melted. I can't. Ayoko na ulit umasa. Ayoko na ulit masaktan.

"Maybe it's not the right time to talk about what happened to us before, But sure we can be friends, pero hindi doon matatapos 'yon. I want you back. I'll do anything to have you again." There goes his killer-smile. He winked at me before he left.

Feeling ko nanlumo ako sa nangyari. He wants me back? What for? He has his bestfriend for goodness' sake! Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko sayo Ethan.
