I tapped my fingers against the table contemplating what exactly I should tell him about myself. It's such a broad question. I could be completely dull with the answer or I can go into somewhat of depth. I'm never comfortable with telling people about myself. That's part of the reason I started a YouTube channel. "I've lived between New Jersey and New York my whole life, I have one older sister named Jamie. She's actually getting married in a few weeks and I'm gonna fly out to be there for her."

"You're leaving, where's the wedding at?" He sat up in interest.

"It's gonna be in New York City, and I'm of course a bridesmaid which isn't the best thing in the world."

Kian shrugged, "I don't know, bridesmaids are hot as hell."

"Yeah you say that cause you're a guy, it's actually stressful as shit. Like getting fitted for a dress, making sure your face is beat for the Gods and having to basically take a thousand pictures and stand up in front of everyone." I complained to him.

"That does sound sucky and also what the fuck does beat for the Gods mean?" He asked scrunching his nose.

"You don't know what that means and you're living in 2016," I laughed, "wow, you need to be cultured."

"Okay first of all that's not what cultured means. And no I don't know what the fuck it means 'cause it makes no sense." He said waving a hand.

"First of all," I imitated him, "it's what almost every beauty guru says not to mention all the other millions of girls that do." I said. I felt my phone vibrate on the table and huffed immediately darting my eyes from the phone to Kian. "Wonder who that could be." I said sarcastically picking up my phone. My playful mood completely took a one eighty when my eyes fell upon the message.

It wasn't Taylor.

It was an actual message from a number I didn't recognize. Not a Twitter DM. How could this person possibly have gotten my personal number. When I saw the pictures I put my phone down forcefully on the table. Anxiety shot through my body. Making me sick to my stomach. My whole body tensed up with fear.

"What the h-," the waiter comes over with our drinks, "thank you." Kian says to him then adverts his attention back to me. "Why'd you slam your phone down like that, did some guy DM you a peepee pic." He joked leaning across the table poking my shoulder.

I shook my head slightly and looked out of the corner of my eye to the right where a big window was. I placed my hand on the side of my mouth to cover it. "Be discrete but look around the diner and see if anyone suspicious stands out to you. Check outside too." I whispered.

His eyes grew slightly wider with concern. He waited a few seconds then proceeded to glance around. "I don't see anyone," Kian said still looking then looked back at me, "tell me what's going on Emily."

I cracked my knuckles and cleared my throat. I slyly slid my phone over to him revealing the photos. He looked at them longer than I expected. His eyes darted up unexpectedly and he looked past me. "I'm sketched the fuck out right now, I don't know what we should do." He told me calmly but I saw the fear in his eyes. Not complete fear but it was close to it.

"I think we should leave. He could still be in here right now."

"No," he said abruptly, "that asshole isn't gonna dictate what you do. I'm not gonna let that happen. We're gonna stay right the fuck here and eat then-"
