8 - What Lies Beneath
Roma looked after Ivy who was now burning with fever. She also couldn't believe that Ivy would try to kill someone...especially their comrade. She wiped Ivy's face with a cold towel and left her to rest.
"Roma, you're just in time." Eva greeted.
"How's Katrina?" Roma, without doubt, is worried about how a vampire and a werewolf could get along. Especially now that they need to work together to expel their so-called enemies.
"Still with a fever, but she's better." Corine answered while she took a bite off her donut.
Silence filled the living room. Roma's birthday is tomorrow and she just wished she didn't get involved with this mess. Why in the world did she have to be a Daughter of Cassiopeia?
"Listen...Roma."
"What?"
"Corine sees the future. She was gifted with the powers of an oracle. She told me last night that evil found us. And we very well know right now that one of our weaknesses is having a vampire and a werewolf sister. It's hard keep them together." Corine nodded in agreement and so did Roma.
"I saw in my vision that two of our sisters will try to kill each other and it just happened earlier this evening. It's been days since I heard Katrina talking to herself...and she keeps on...injuring herself. I don't know what's wrong with her."
"I think something's possesing her."
Once again, they kept silent...and they heard a scream.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" the three of them rushed to Katrina. She's sitting down her bed while grasping her hair. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"K-Katrina!" Roma saw on their eyes what closeness they shared. Like what she and Ivy have for just a short time.
"Corine, help me!" and then she fell on her bed, not moving...and unconscious again.
Eva told them to rest and they'll take turns on looking after Katrina and Ivy but Roma refused. She's decided that she's going to be the one to be there when Ivy wakes up.

The subtle battle of good versus evil has been waged periodically since the earliest times. It is once again being fought in the our subtle world and the world beyond our eyes today. After the intensity of this battle is reduced, a battle on Earth will ensue. Thereafter, the world will undergo a period of flux recovering from the battle on Earth and preparing for a new era. But in our present time, five teenagers will train and defy the forces of the spirit of Abaddon. They will fight together, save the world together, and survive together.
