"ohmygod, i have to, i have to go thank him, and apologize too maybe." Laura mumbled after i narrated to her the whole last night situation.

"yeah." I nodded in reply. she owed justin.

"okay, so, you gotta get to that exhibition at what time Liz?" Laura asked.

"umm, 3:30."

"cool. let's do this thingie. we go to justin's first. and blah blah and then we i'll drop you to the place and then i'll leave for college? how's that sound?" she asked.

"uh..okay." i agreed. as long as i was meeting justin again, i didn't mind.

so we reached justin's house around threeish and i consciously set my hair in the rear view mirror before getting down.

"Hey there, Laura." justin saw us,came outta his grand-looking house and hugged my sister.

"Hey Lizzy." he smiled at me.

i smiled back.

"Listen Justin. i'm sooo sorry for last night. just so sorry, i-"

"shut up." he chuckled as he cut my sister off.

she laughed too.

"i owe you, literally." Laura said.

"if you believe so, do one thing for me?" he asked. i was just a silent spectator throughout.

"anything." Laura agreed.

"don't drink so much. it's not good for you Laur. break-up's are meant to be bad. you don't have to get so high, not gonna help." he said. there was an this assurance in his voice, almost convincing. gentle yet firm, friendly yet alarming. it was charming.

"you're such a sweetheart." my sister said and they hugged yet another time. cute.

"so, where you guys headed?" he asked.

"different places. i gotta get to the exhibition and she's got college." i said.

"oh shoot, Lizzy, can you, umm. i gotta rush, i forgot i had to meet Jason before college. can you take a cab. i'm sorry. byee. thanks again Justin." Laura said and ran away. like wth? okay, she had to meet Jason. good thing. remember the black-haired guy who asked her to come along to the pub? yeah that's Jason. good thing, they were meeting up. but bad thing she did not stick to the plan. i just had to get to the art exhibition how ever. it was for a project. observe and write kinda thing you know?

"uh..okay." i gulped down and turned to justin.

"umm, guess i'll see you then." i said.

"wait Lizzy, where you headed?" he asked.

"to the exhibition down the road?"

"it's like in the middle of the carnival right?" he asked.

"yeah. that one." i smiled.

"umm, let me get the car keys." he smiled.

"no, justin. i'll manage."

"yeah. i let you do that the last time, now you gotta let me do this." he said and i nodded with a smile.

"so, you're into art and stuff?" he asked as we took a sharp right.

"not really. it's a project." i said hesitantly.

"oh, those observatory stuff?" he asked.

"them" i said. he smiled and shook his head.

"so you like them, you don't?" he asked.
