Chapter 11 : Welcome Home... And Stay Alive.
Miles
The morning came and I showered and got dressed as soon as I opened my eyes. I might be a little anxious but I didn't care.
"Early bird catches the worm huh?" Tristan said to me.
I smile. "Of course."
I grabbed my keys and headed out the door with Tristan following after me.
The drive wasn't that long next thing you know we were on the road then at the hospital. We entered quickly and found nurse Demona.
She appeared quickly around the corner smile bright and giddy.
"Hi Tristan and Miles. Let's see how our little fighter is doing?" She said and started walking.
We followed her to the door in desperation, as soon as the door opened we saw her sitting up on a cellphone laughing at something.
"Victoria you have some visitors." Nurse Demona said and stood aside.
Victoria looked up and a big smile tilted upon her lips. "Tristan! Miles!"
"Hey Victoria." I reached over and gave her a hug.
Tristan did after and she sighed and laid back on the bed. "Guys I'm exhausted."
"You should be. What were you thinking taking the cure?" I asked her.
She sighed. " I was so mad, I just snapped. I hope I won't have that episode ever again."
Nurse Demona came back in the room. "Victoria are you ready for your release?"
She nodded.
We got up and went back to the waiting room so she could change. She was feeling better than I thought.
"Mom will love Victoria..." Tristan blurted out.
I looked at him quickly. "Yes. She will."
I saw her talking at the front desk, she wore dark jeans and a yellow tank top with a dark blue jean jacket. Her hair was in a high bun with on both sides of her face she placed two stringy curls as a bang.
"You guys ready to go?" Victoria said as she walked over here.
Tristan smiled. "Only if you are." He sighed. "I need some time on the couch."
Victoria smirked. "Yeah. Of course you do."
We all headed to the car in silence, all of us in our thoughts. I felt like we were glad everything worked out due to the fact we still didn't clarify what made her go off exactly.
We arrived at the house so quickly, I didn't notice. We headed to the door and once the door opened our lovely mother came into our vision. She wore a black shirt and light blue jeans.
Mom was a punk woman that always wore her hair black and a Chinese bang, her eyes were the color of green emeralds and she was skinny but fit.
She hates long conversations and she had an short temper, I hated when I got on her bad side.
"Boys! And... Oh who are you lady?" mom said eyes shooting to Victoria.
Victoria smiled. "I'm Victoria Espinoza. I'm a friend of your sons."
Mom smiled. "I'm Regina. You can call me Gina if you like..."
Victoria nodded. "Noted."
"Boys! How have you been?" Mom said as she sat on the couch.
