Maya's POV

A couple days ago I got my cast off which I was very grateful for and my best friends have stayed by my side. I love the feeling of being loved by such great people. Yes I know, I love my parents ALOT  but that's family love. You have loved them forever and I do love my family, but the love in friendship is different. It's like they are a second family but I can talk to them more about you know, teenage things, and they won't make it sound so grown up. I still live life to the fullest, I always have.

(Back to the story line)

I was walking to class and Lucas turned me around and hugged me. I know more about Lucas now and when he acts like this, it means he wants something. Oh my what is it this time.
"Okay Lucas what do you want from me." I sighed not really interested in giving him something
"Whaaaaaattt? Why can't I just give one of my best friends a hug." He says nervously. I just raise my eyebrows knowing that he is lying and sense we've gotten really close to each other the few days I know that he's lying. But I'll give him anything because I love him so-. Wait...did I just say just say love? I can't love him I mean he's just my crush I can't love him. Can I? I bet he doesn't even like me. Or does he?  This is all so-. I got cut off by Lucas waving his hand in my face "maya wake up! Earth to maya?!"
I started to blush knowing I was thinking about him right there, in his face. Oh how much weirder does my life get?
"Okay huckleberry tell me what you want so I can get this over with" I said as I rolled my eyes.
"Okay fine. I need to use your swimming pool." He slightly smiled nervously.
"And why is that?" I questioned.
"Because I am throwing a party and I was gonna use my pool but they are draining it out for some reason so there won't be any water in it." He said.
"I would let you but no one would want to go if they find out it's my house." I said looking down. Then suddenly he took is index finger and put it on my chin. "They will go. believe me." He smiled slightly and something surprising happened. He kissed the top of my forehead and took my hand. "Where are we going?" I asked blushing like crazy. I can't believe that actually happened. I feel butterflies when he just touches me or holds my hand "class silly. Where else?" He said. I giggled and replied. "Well I don't know. Your full of surprises." He just laughed and we entered class.

(Magical unicorns later)

I was walking to my locker and someone was right there waiting for me. "Sup." I said as chill as possible which somehow worked.
"Hey so the party starts at 4:00 and sense you let me use the your place your invited." He said with his charming voice. "Lucas I'm flattered but seriously?! No one even knows about the true maya you know the girly side that only you, Riley, and Farkle know!" I whisper yelled the last part.
"Cmon please for me? You know...... Your best friend." He said poking my stomach which made me giggle.
"Fine but I'm only doing it because I love you." I said laughing.
"YAYYYYYYYYY" he said screaming. People looked. He's so embarrassing.
"Dude calm down people are looking."
I said covering my face.
"Whatever. See you later Penelope." I got so mad that I ran after him and jumped onto his back.
"Sense you called me that your giving me a ride to my place."
"Oh fine. Also I'm staying there so I can set up the place for the party."
"Okay that's fine. I'll just tell my dad about it." I said smiling.
"You sure Shawn would let you have a party?" He asked nervously thinking I was crazy. I jumped of his back, got into his car and said "yeah I know he wouldn't mind." I said calmly.
"I'll prove it to you. Look." I took out my phone, called my father and he picked up on the 3rd ring. I put him on speaker and said.

"Hey dad"

"Hey sweetie."

"Hey I'm gonna have a party today is that okay with you and mom?"
