We enter the school and all eyes are locked on us. Maybe because I'm just a nobody and Riley is the most popular girl in school and usually hangs out with her 'girl friends' aka the most popular girls in school behind Riley. I have never known why Riley likes me I mean she's popular, I'm a nothing. She's nice, I'm a rebel that gets bullied every minute of the day. But never mind that I'm just glad she's by my side but I think it's because I have a cast and can barely walk but still I'm glad she's with me today.
While we were walking to my locker people would walk past me and say 'nerd, nobody, broken, pathetic, ugly, fat' and I always question the last one because I'm pretty skinny I mean really? Fat? Saying that just makes me laugh.
When we got to my locker someone walking by said "why does Riley even like to hang out with her she's clearly a nobody" and I guess Riley heard because she looked at me concerned and said "don't listen to them you know none of it is true peaches." Trying to comfort me. I just nod and I gave her a smile. Not close to fake at all, I was actually happy that she cared about me. But I always wonder.....
