Chapter Fifteen

I'm in my room packing my bag for Thanksgiving break. Connor's parents said they would meet us at Midnight Moon pack to meet me. No surprise there really. They didn't want to step on my dad's toes, so they just decided they would come instead. A knock on my door brings me out of my packing trance. "Come in."

My door opens and I immediately smell his scent. He smells like aftershave and A87 body spray. I involuntarily close my eyes and take in a deep breath. His arms wrap around my waist and I smile at the tingles he sends through me. "You ready to go? The train leaves in twenty." He says softly into my ear.

I nod against him and lean into his arms. After a few minutes he grabs my bag and closes it. His fingers intertwine with mine and he carries my bag down with us. Trish and Lily smile when they see me and crush me into a hug. Trish is the first to talk. "Okay, text me when you get home, and tell me everything that happens between Connor and your dad." She smiles playfully and I can hear Connor groan loudly from behind me.

Lily smiles at us, but doesn't say anything. She won't be saying goodbye until we get to the train station. Trish's parents decided they would come and get her, so we are leaving before her. "Alright, I will." I smile at her. "Love you." I say.

"I know you do." She flips her hair. "And I love you too, of course." She laughs and I smile while shaking my head.

Connor grabs my hand again. "We better get going. They will leave without us." I nod and Lily hugs Trish goodbye.

We all walk out in a comfortable silence. When we get on the train, Connor finds a place and motions for me to sit on his lap. I laugh and sit down in the open seat beside him. He growls a little and I look up at him. Eventually I roll my eyes and give in. I sit down on his lap and he wraps his arms around me. I snuggle into his chest and hear him let out a sound almost like a purr. I smile with my eyes closed and feel his chin on top of my head.

"Sophie." A soft, masculine voice calls to me and I want to get closer. "Sophie, wake up baby. We have to get off." I feel his presence move from me and I don't like it. I grab onto his shirt and nuzzle my head on his chest. A soft, sexy chuckle comes from him and I feel myself smile. "You have to wake up baby. Your dad would kill me if I carried you off of the train."

I open my eyes and see Connor staring down at me. I feel groggy, and notice that my eyes close rather slowly. "Morning." I say as I stretch out my arms. I'm still sitting on his lap.

'His wolf is particularly happy about that.' I hear my tigress say in my head.

'I think Connor is enjoying it too.' I say as I notice Connor's hand is very close to my butt.

Slowly, I climb off of him, careful not to hurt him. "It's more like goodnight baby." I look out the train window and notice the moon is out.

I smile then turn back to Connor. He stands up and grabs my bag from the shelf above us. "Let's go see my mom and dad. Greyson is probably being tortured by my mom right now." I grab his hand and practically drag him off of the train.

The first person I see is my dad, and immediately I let go of Connor's hand. "Daddy!" I run to him and throw my arms around his neck.

He laughs and wraps an arm around my waist while putting the other at the back of my head. "How's my baby girl?" I smile at his nickname.

"I'm fantastic. I just had an amazing nap on the train and now I'm hugging my dad that I missed so so so much while I was gone." He laughs again and I squeeze his neck. My dad is a huge man. He's 6'7", built, and he is so sweet.

I hear Connor let out a nervous cough from behind me and gasp. "Oh my Goddess." I jump out of my dad's arms to grab Connor and bring him closer to my dad. "Daddy, this is Connor, and before you beat him up, he has been a perfect gentleman this entire time and hasn't done anything inappropriate to or with me. Okay?" My dad looks down at Connor, who looks like he'd rather be anywhere else but here.
