"Holy fuck, Cubone!" Mitch burst out in squeals of happiness. "I've been waiting for you, you double-skulled shit!"

I laugh, looking back to my screen to see how far I am from Hypno. That little fucker escaped twice as of now.

"Yes! Fuck you Cubone! Gotcha, motherfucker!" I hear Mitch scream right next to me. He jump up and down, clearly ecstatic from his new catch.

"I wanna see," I whine, trying to look at his screen. He tilts his screen toward me to show me his now captive Cubone.

"Any luck on Hypno?" He asks me, smiling at his success as his new Pokemon is registered to his Pokédex.

"Not yet. I've been following him a while, but he's not showing up closer than 300 meters," I groan, earning a giddy laugh from Mitch.

"You'll get him, Scotty," Mitch grins, patting my back lightly before going back to his phone.

We walk down the sidewalk a while, coming to the conclusion that Hypno isn't coming back anytime soon.

"At least you hatched an egg," Mitch smiles. "You got a Meowth! Be happy," he bumps my shoulder with his.

"Hypno!" I grin as the Pokémon comes into sight. Mitch sighs as he puts his phone in his pocket, getting his camera from his bag. He starts recording, and does the usual intro to Superfruit as I'm furiously swiping Pokéballs at Hypno.

"I am... Cubone," Mitch looks to me.

"And I am Hypno," I continue trying my best to capture the allusive big-nosed bitch.

"And we are playing Pokémon Go! I had to restart my damn account so Scott decided to be a sweetheart and do the same. We're starting from the bottom so why not record it?" He shrugs, pointing the camera at me.

"This nerd has been trying to get Hypno for like, thirty minutes now," Mitch subtly taunts, earning a glare.

I smile as a Pokéball finally hits Hypno, waiting in anticipation. I watch as the ball wiggles once. Twice. A third time.

Gotcha bitch.

"I finally got him!" I cheer, almost throwing my phone as my hands shoot up in victory. Mitch pouts, pulling his hat tighter on his now bald head.

"I was hoping they could watch you suffer as you kept trying to find him," he feigns sadness.

"I would legit cry if I lost him again," I laugh as Hypno is registered to my Pokédex.

"He looks like you!" Mitch grins, pointing at my screen.

"Hey," I pout. "That's not nice." Mitch smiles and adjusts his hat with his right hand, his left still holding the camera to record.

"Fine, I'm sorry. Be happy, you finally caught the little fucker."

"Just get your phone out. We obviously aren't done," Mitch gets his phone out and uses his thumb to unlock it, swiping to the next page on his home screen and opening the app again.

"Keep going, she has to be around here somewhere. They can't just disappear!" Mitch groans, about to walk across the street without looking up.

I grab his shoulder, pulling him back from the curb, making him trip a little. He looks at me curiously before I point to the cars flying down the road. He widens his eyes, blushing a bit.

"Thank you," he smiles, going to the end of the sidewalk and waiting for the crosswalk.

"Just don't die, I can't lose you," I chuckle, following him as he stops near the light.

"Someone just spotted a Geodude," he comments as the stoplight turns red. He and I cautiously cross the street, clutching the phone by my side, hoping not to drop it. Once we crossed the street, Mitch decided to keep going straight on the sidewalk. I follow him in silence as he searches for God knows what.

I watch as he practically jumps up in excitement as he begins swiping on his phone. I grab the camera from his other hand, allowing him to hold his phone with two hands.

"I caught Gastly!" Mitch grins once he finally seems finished. I smile and wrap an arm around him, pulling his front to my side.

"So did I," I mumble as I leave a soft, tiny kiss on his forehead. I see Mitch slightly blushing as I wrap my other arm around him, turning my front to his, wrapping him in a hug. The camera's at an angle where it can see only me and partially see Mitch. Mitch wraps his arms tighter, gently gripping my shirt in his hands.

"Mitch?" I ask as I stop the recording. He rests his jaw on my shoulder, looking up to me with a questioning expression.

"Why are you blushing?" I slightly grin, watching as he hides his face again. "Was that weird? I kiss your forehead all the time. Was it what I said? Is it bothe-"

"No," Mitch sighs, shaking his head lightly. "That was really sweet of you to say," Mitch pauses, looking to be in a state of consideration. He shakes his head again, pulling away from the long hug. He takes his beanie off and holds it in his hand, looking at his shoes.

"Thank you for today. It's been a great day," he smiles again, his dimples adding to his defined features. He seems genuinely happy, and I'm not proud to say it has been a while since I've seen him like this. I stare at him with the dumbest smile on my face, him sighing as I stay silent.

After concluding that I'm not going to respond, he grabs the camera from my hands and presses record, pointing it toward us both.

"This is sorta eventful, but I wanted to get this moment on camera. Scott, we both know I've been looking pretty damn hard for someone to love and care for me, and I feel stupid now that he's standing right in front of me. Will you be my boyfriend?" He grins, looking to me as I freeze. I begin blinking rapidly, thinking I misheard him.

"What?" I said, not trusting my ears completely.

"I said, will you be my boyfriend?" His smile widens a bit as his eyes watch me with anticipation.

A new grin suddenly forms on my face and I speak before I completely register what's going on. "Yes," I say, him jumping at me and wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug, still grasping the camera in his hand.

"Thank god," he mumbles as he presses his face to my my chest, smiling as I hug him back.

"So, you're my Gastly now?" I chuckle as he pulls away slightly, lifting his head as his eyes meet mine.

"As long as you'll be my Hypno."
