Emma and Robin approached the castle to find it heavily guarded. Her dark clothed guards nearly hid perfect in the dark, but with their weapons clinging to their sides, they were heard. Robin readied his bow before Emma pointed to a section that was left unguarded. A section that would take time to climb, but in the dark, could be done easier than assassinating each guard one by one. But he pulled her back before using an arrow as a step, leading all the way to the top. She thanked him before they began their journey to the top, Robin taking each arrow with each step up. When they made it on top, they found an entrance lit with bright torches that caught both of their eyes.
"The dungeon will be below...I do not want to force you to come as it is very dangerous-"
"You go...I assure you that I will be just fine...she will not hurt me."
"I trust you...not her...but I will be here if needed."
She nodded as they parted ways, him going down one corridor and her the other. Emma pushed against several doors before coming to a specific one that opened without her force. Behind it, stood the Evil queen, her long hair hanging down one shoulder and her dark makeup still deep on her face. But her normal glamorous gown was exchanged for a black nightgown with red gems on the bottom that complimented her figure.
"Emma...what a surprise..." She turned to the princess before shutting the doors. "Have you come to offer me your heart? That is the only reason I would allow you to stay alive..."
"I feel we could help each other."
"Ha! A princess whose mother exiled me....who ruined my life! That does not sound like someone I can trust...now does it?"
"Maybe not. But I have connections to Calypso...the sea witch..."
"Haha...and I have connections to Poseidon...Do you truly believe I would help you? I mine as well take your heart now-" Suddenly an arrow hit her hand as she glared to the window to find it to be Robin. Out of anger and pain, she turned away, removing the object and throwing it to the ground. Her eyes froze on Robin as she saw the tattoo upon his hand. Instantly, her gaze softened and so did her expression.
"Why would I want Calypso?"
"Because she can grant you anything you want. And I know for a fact you are tired of being alone." She was overcome with emotion as she turned, quickly turning back and glaring.
"What is it that you want?"
"You are known for your dark curses...I need you to help restore the memory instead of taking it..."
"Who in particular?"
"My fiance...my parents....my friends...and I'm sure...eventually everyone...they will believe in a life cut off from what they've done. I will do whatever it takes to help you, if you do the same and help them."
"How do you expect me to enter if I'm exiled."
"As of now...you're still their queen. Snow is seen as the one exiled and Charming isn't even royalty to them...just a farm hand...if noticed at all. You can make them listen...you can enact this curse...to reverse the bad for once."
Her eyes moved to Robin before looking back to Emma. "And I suppose there is something you want?"
"My son." He said sternly as her expression softened even more.
"It is all he has left..." Emma added as the evil queen sighed before nodding, escorting them into the dungeon before showing Roland who was crying out for his father, gently hitting the metal bars.
"Roland!" He took him in his arms before Emma saw the look the Queen gave him. Almost as if she could relate-but not to the offspring connection...something more personal...something more intriguing.
