"How do we go about finding her?" Emma asked Killian as he paced her bedroom, listening close for Pan's guards to do their usual check-ins, to be sure nothing was askew. Doing everything she could, Emma thought hard as her gaze caught on the fire.

"I think I have an idea..." Searching through her room, she came to a small box that held a small whistle.

"The one the huntsman gave you?"

She nodded. "You know where she is...so if you tell him...then he will bring her here..."

Killian nodded as Emma moved to the window as Killian moved to the door with his sword-prepared to strike any who entered. In a quick motion, she blew into it, sending a bird-like sound through the air, not alerting the guards of it being a call of any kind. Withdrawing herself back into the room fully, the door swung open as Kilian stood behind it.

Rumple stood with a large smirk before Killian watched on with great interest.

"Hello dearie..."

"What do you want?"

"There is no need to be so cruel...I want only to collect on my side of the bargain..."

"You never stayed true to yours...my tail-"

"Is more a gift than a curse. It helped you survive-hasn't it?"

"What have you done to me?"

"It is very simple...whenever you are excessively stressed...it comes to be...it only goes away by you wanting it to. And being in water, keeps it." Before she could respond, he then continued to speak. "Now it is turn for my side..."

"What is it that you want?"

"Just a very simple promise...one I will force you to keep...."

"What is the promise?"

"You cannot very well say no...but it is...very small-"

"Spit it out."

He turned before glaring. His expression then eased as he saw Killian behind the door. "This is not a promise for everyone to hear. Be gone, pirate." Without control, Killian moved from the room as Emma gulped. Her eyes watched him extremely carefully as he moved around her, almost dancing as he was light on his feet.

"I want something of simplicity...something of pure love..."

"I cannot help with that."

He chuckled. "Of course not. You have...you will have...something I want and when you have it...I will retrieve it."

"Stop speaking in riddles and just tell me."

"Fine. A product of true love can be dangerous as well as powerful."

"What can I do about it?"

"I am going to make sure you get your happy ending, Emma."

"Why?"

"Because in the midst of love, grows a child. A purity in a world of darkness...a child that is the key to my freedom-I am chained to Pan...and by having this child....I can collect on my freedom..."

"I will not promise a child to you-"

"You cannot deny it-you owe me. And I can make your life much worse if you attempt to deny me. Perhaps the hearts of those you love most ground into a stew or the heads as trophies sitting in your room-"

"Fine."

"Good..." He paused. "Sleep well, Princess..."

As the door shut, she turned with tears in her eyes as she clutched her stomach. Within a matter of minutes, Killian reentered the room with great angst upon his face.

"I remembered being with you and before I knew it, I was walking in the garden-" He saw her sickened pale expression and immediately went to her side. "Are you alright? What is it love?"

"Killian...I had no choice..."

"I don't understand...what happened?"

"I had to promise him a child born of pure love..."

"What?"

"It is his freedom from Pan...he threatened to kill everyone if I didn't do it...He told me he would give me my happy ending..."

"What does that mean?"

"I am guessing he will not allow anyone to get between us because if that were to happen, the child wouldn't be born-and not out of love..."

"It is simple then..."

"What?"

"We do not have a child. How is he to now if you are barren or I...unable..." He said with a blush-not wanting to speak the words.

"He is magic-he could tell if we would be lying."

"Then we find another way. For now, we wait for the Huntsman, to help find Wendy..."
