Emma awoke to find a hand cupped over her mouth as she was pulled away from the camp she made. She felt a great pressure on her ankles and wrists but then was blinded by some form of blindfold. Trying to motion around, she listened close to hear the clanking of metal. For what seemed like hours, she was drug through the woods until coming to a fire and being placed next to it. Before long, the blindfold was removed and she opened her eyes to reveal Pan.

"You are quite the difficult woman to locate, Emma..."

"What do you want?"

"It is very simple really...just to give my part of the deal..." He bit his bottom lip before looking close to her. "It is quite a shame that your pirate gave in so easily..."

"Killian? What did you do?" She asked as tears filled her eyes.

"Just sent him on a little task. He thinks he saved your life...but in reality-he only put himself a safe distance to not get himself killed. And if he happens to succeed in what I sent him to do...he got rid of an enemy of mine..."

"Who? Who did you send him to kill?"

"It is not important. What is...is deciding how to kill you. The sea witch just wants your heart...and I get the joy of obtaining it anyway I want..." His lips curved to a mischievous smile before he walked to the other side of the fire. Suddenly her eyes locked on Henry who was watching with wide eyes, as if he felt guilt-but also fear against Pan. "Now...what instrument to choose from..."

Killian peeked behind a thick tavern corner, tailing his target. Seeing the man with long straight black hair enter the shop ahead, he readied his sword before entering the shop soon after. He was met with a blade to his throat as the man spoke with a clear, deep voice.

"Why are you following me?"

As Killian could not talk, he threw his sword ahead, showing he meant no harm. In truth, Killian would do whatever it took to not claim a life-but with Emma on the line, he was unsure of what he was fully capable of.

"Why are you not speaking?"

He motioned that he got cursed before the man withdrew his blade from Killian's throat.

"You have been sent by Pan...he is the only person I know to have connections to the horrid witch."

Killian nodded.

"You seem on honorable man. I suppose you are doing it for someone special...someone you love perhaps?"

Killian nodded as he placed his hand over his heart. "Come with me." The man instructed as they walked to the beach. "Explain to me what he asked of you."

Killian then illustrated in the sand the events of the last few days. How he stole Pan's ship, how he tracked him down, why he could not talk. Everything.

"You must understand that I cannot come with you. I have a family."

Killian nodded before writing; "I do not plan to hurt you-to help you."

"How?"

Killian wrote once more, "By tricking Pan."

"But he would be able to tell."

Killian then devised the plan before William agreed-and they ventured to Pan's location.

Emma watched anxiously as Pan's gaze and fingers danced over the sharp objects laid out on the box. Suddenly he turned.

"For all you and Killian have put me through, I want you to suffer and as much as I would like to...make you bleed...I can not risk piercing that heart...so...I will have you tormented."

Her eyes went wide as Henry looked to Emma with pain.

"I believe you still have your tail-compared to what my father told me. His plan to curse you with it. And from what I hear...mermaids cannot live without water. So I will suspend this box and allow my men to poke holes until all the water has escaped and you will die like a disgusting-unwanted fish." A chuckle left his throat as he then turned away from her, instructing the men what to do.

"The only question is how to get you to turn..." He attempted to throw water onto her, but saw how it did not work. He then motioned to one of his lost boys before a box was returned. Unlatching it, a vial was taken out before he removed the top and inhaled the contents. "This is to make those demons come out of you...it is supposed to expose the vulnerable-darker side of someone-what they try to repress..."

He forced her to drink it before she froze and began moaning with pain. And suddenly her legs became a tail and the fire nearly took her breath away.

"I want her to suffer! Remove her from the fire!"

She was then placed in a box and lifted in the cold night where a hole was punctured by the end of her tail. Closing her eyes, she could feel her end; seeing the darkness.
