Several hours had passed as Emma and Killian began to grow nervous of the huntsman's task. If he were injured-or worse, or if she had even survived whatever was on Neverland. Falling asleep and switching shifts of consciousness, the moment finally arose to where he returned. Evading Pan's guards, he was able to gain access to her room, and away from nosy ears.
"Were you able to find her?"
He nodded. But his gaze showed how it was not an easy task.
"She was...she was like an animal...caged in these thick bars."
"I don't understand...where is she?"
"I could not help her escape..."
"Is she alright?"
He nodded. "There were several boys around her, watching her almost..."
"The lost boys..." Killian said aloud before Emma glared to him with confusion.
"What can we do?"
"I will go. Pan won't miss me...it's you he wants to make miserable-as that would effect me most."
"What are you going to do?"
"I am going to bring her back here to get Pan out of his selfishness. Maybe to distract him even..."
"If you are going, then I am coming with you. Who knows what will happen if I stay here? What they will do to me..."
"Emma-"
"Killian..." She took his hand, interlocking their fingers. "We are not separating again."
He nodded as the huntsman assisted them down the tower and away from the guards through several quiet assassinations before running through the woods.
"Why isn't she at Neverland?"
"I suppose so Pan could keep her closer..."
"I thought nobody could leave Neverland."
"Things have changed..." The huntsman chimed in. "It used to be true. But now magic has affected everything. A stronger path has allowed those to come and go-but it is causing after effects."
"Like what?" Emma asked anxiously.
"Memory loss...mainly."
Emma grew frustrated. "Must be Calypso..."
Emma and Killian then filled the Huntsman in on the entire saga of their last few months as they finalized their journey, upon arriving at their destination. Glaring through the trees as night had fallen hard overhead and the only light given was that of a fire lit by the lost boys. Wendy was locked on the opposite side of the camp with a large lock keeping her prisoner as Emma looked close at the barricade.
"What is it love?"
"The lock, I can get it..." She took two pins from her hair as Killian looked surprised.
"I have always had a knack for locks..." She rose from the location and moved towards the cage, waiting for the que to help her escape. "Just focus on the tumblers..." She said to herself before watching Killian push himself towards the lost boys. The huntsman kept his weapon on the scene as the scene unfolded.
"Who are you?" one of the boys asked, drawing a knife from their side.
"Why I am Captain Killian Jones..."
"Captain Hook." One of the boys said, seeing how his hand was now replaced by a shiny hook crafted by Emma in their time as prisoners in her own castle.
"It does have a pleasant ring."
"What do you want pirate?"
"I must have stumbled far from my ship..." He said, acting impeccably drunk as Emma moved closer to the cage.
"What is it you want? We aren't givin ya anything."
"I simply want a seat by the warm fire and a chance to warm up if you would be so kind."
"We don't harbor fugitives."
"I would suggest otherwise..."
"Who? Wendy?" The boys turned to see Wendy now gone from her cage and Emma running through the woods. Killian followed after, with the huntsman close behind, shooting arrows to attempt to cease their pursuit. But alas, they chased them all the way to the forest line-where they were then held by the fear of being seen-it seemed.
Making their way into the castle, Emma found how the guards were aware of her disappearance. Strolling in the gardens, a guard snatched her arm-giving the others a chance to enter without impossibility. She was led to Pan as he sat on the throne with two feet crossed over one arm and his back against the other.
"Well...you came back...I thought I would have to send my men to find you."
"Do you mean your boys?"
He glared. "I don't think you understand that I am in control, Emma."
"I understand very well, Pan. I know everything about you and Wendy."
His gaze grew wide.
"You know nothing."
"I know how you had her locked up-forced her to believe you had her brothers...when you have no clue where they are."
"I do know where they are." He said with a sinister grin.
"Even more of a reason she should hate you."
He slammed his fists down.
"She doesn't hate me! She can't.....but I am not playing your game. If you saw her...prove it...You could have attained this from any weak soldier of mine....or some magic..."
"Go to my room then. She'll be there."
Pan motioned for the guards as he then walked towards Emma. "If you did anything to her....I will certainly have your head....if you are lying I will-"
Seeing her in front of him, he almost became white as a ghost as he walked towards her.
"Wendy?" Pan asked as she nodded.
"Dearie...." Rumple spoke as though he was also on a knowing basis.
"Darling..." She corrected. "Wendy Darling."
