JOHN
"Yeah. He does that", Sergeant Donovan's words occurred to me and for once I could not disagree with them. Moriarty's refusal to give up his act led to an all-out attack, finally we had been pushed beyond our measures. In spite of our proper motivation we failed to capture Moriarty and were left astray. Agitated and confused we stopped but with little to no warning Sherlock decided to go off on his own neglecting me in the process. As I watched him disappear into the night my phone pinged. I read the text and it would appear that I would be off as well. By morning I'm sure to have reached there, the abandoned warehouse in Addlestone.~TIME SKIP ~
I trudged the debris covered floors escorted by the illuminated disfigured shadows. Rolling my eyes at the sheer ominous aura Sebastiana tried to infuse in our confrontations. Her inefficiency was what made all this somewhat tolerable. The silence that had once taken root was broken by the sound of one clearing their throat."You don't seem very afraid", she complained pulling at her fur coat.
"You don't seem very frightening", I countered back.
And like a pubescent adolescent she whipped what little hair she had and put a hand on her hip ,"fair enough". I found it out of place that she conceded so quickly without as much as a threat. I felt a chill crawl up my spine and I knew my death sentence had been written.
SHERLOCK
Bart's had initially been my destination but I took a detour going to Baker Street. As of late,
I've struggled to stay in control of my mind and my actions. But I catch myself slipping more often than not. I don't feel accustomed in my own body anymore. All logic and rationality have seem to have fled me. I pull my collar up aganist the wind-somethings coming.SEBASTIANA
I ran my fingers aganist the wall I held my breath, "And God said let there be light", then I flipped the switch. Revealing a stream of christmas lights strung among the unstable light fixtures hanging from the ceiling and a table set for two. John gawked and how could he not even he couldn't have anticipated such a display. I wanted to give him the news in the most elegant way possible but my anticipation was to much to bare, "It has come to the point where I am no longer satisfied with these little dates and I think it would be in yours", he gave me an are you sure look, "-Sherlock's best interests if you married me".JOHN
They say when your body receives a huge jolt of electric shock it disturbs the central nervous system and causes the heart to enter cardiac arrest. The normal body temperature increases and finally the muscles contract. That's exactly how much her words stung me,"I might be out of line here but I have done everything you've asked me without protest but marrying you was never part of the inscription!"."Well, it's about time it should be. You owe me", Sebastiana screeched under clenched teeth thrusting her finger over and over into her collar bone. "I told you. You were subjected to a penalty...".
"Which was a peck on the cheek, which I did even in the face of absolute repulsion", I pratically spit in her direction.
"You sure know how to make a woman swoon but may I also remind you of your impudence the other night I distinctly recall not giving you leave", she kicked the dust at her feet.
"I had to go somewhere", I said without looking at her.
"Yes I am well aware", she stated swiping through her phone, "You just had to be there". She then shoved her phone into my face an image of Sherlock testifying and I sitting in the stands. I was shunned into silence I didn't how to retaliate.
She sighed in pure annoyance, "It doesn't need to be a real proposal or anything", she let go of her close fists,"And to show you a proper example of someone who keeps their word. I solemnly vow if you propose and marry me I will leave your precious Sherlock alone once and for all. Agree?".
Shut in I cooperated, "agreed".
She then called me over wanting an embrace before we sat down to eat.SEBASTIANA
Already in my arms and away from his gaze I was able to let my facade down. By now Moriarty should be finished planting those items I requested all over 221B. I could almost burst the fact that John bought into my little vow was awfully pathetic. I only made that little proclamation because
I knew the sight of John being married would be lethal enough to paralyze Sherlock. Once he released me I gave him a sweet smile to hide my malicious intent.SHERLOCK
I entered 221B only to be bombarded by a small crafted diamond ring, brochures on wedding venues and tuxedos.
"Soo John thinking about marriage, are we?", something in my body twisted and I pursed my lips together ,"Perfect".
