"What about this one?" I ask Daniel.

He's been working a lot lately. I've been house hunting for two weeks and can't find anything. He helps me when he's not busy, but I think he's just working a lot to get extra money for the baby.

Plus, I know that he's been missing work.

In all honesty, I'm terrified to go into my work.

After that nightmare, the thought of going in alone terrifies me.

He's not dressed for work, and it's already noon.

He leans over the couch, peering at the screen.

"Eh." He frowns. "It's a little over our price range."

He's right. It's like two thousand over how much we wanted to pay.

"Babe, you know, you don't have to look alone." He says. "You can go to work, or hangout with Sadie and Sky. You know, do something fun. You've been in the house for two weeks trying to find a house."

"Well, I'm not going to work, and uh, I want a baby, so..." I trail off.

"What's up with you? Why aren't you going to work?"

"Well, I might actually be scared...but whatever."

"Scared?" He's behind me. he moves around so he's in front of me, crouching down. "Why are you scared?"

"Well, um..." I look down. "Remember when we were fighting and you found me sleeping on the floor?"

He nods.

"I had a nightmare that if I leave at night this guy was going to follow me and...uh, rape me, so um...yeah, I don't want to go to work, especially since that guy that was outside looked like the guy in the dream."

"Sweetheart, you never have a problem with bad people there." He whispers.

"I know, but...I still don't want to go."

"How about..." he pauses thinking. "You go to work today, and I'll go to work today, but I'll drop you off, okay, and then around, I dunno, five thirty, I'll come pick you up, and we can go on a date. You won't have to leave the store alone."

My eyes light up at the thought of a date with Daniel.

"Date?" I ask.

He smiles.

"Yeah. Will you go out with me?"

I smile.

"I suppose." I sit up, taking his face in his hands, I kiss him softly.

"What are you gonna do all day? I miss you, Daniel."

"I...am going to set up our date." He grins.

"Okay." I frown.

We haven't had sex in two weeks, so I hope we can have some tonight.

I can't help it.

He knows though.

If I want it, he probably wants it a million times more.

"What attire should I wear?"

"Wear...a dress. Oh god. Do you know that dress you wore for my birthday? The one you didn't wear a bra for? Do you remember that one?" I frown, standing up, I brush past him to the bedroom. He follows me, excited.

I sort through the closet, my hand hitting the thin dark gray fabric.

"This one?" I ask, standing in tiptoe to pull it off the hook.
