Chapter Eighteen

CHAPTER 18

** Sehun's POV **

I pulled away from the hug and held on to her shoulder and stared at her face. A few tears fell and hit her cheeks. I just wiped them away.

"I'll be alright okay?" I said confidently while looking straight into her eyes.

She nodded her head lightly, believing what I said. Suddenly, we heard knockings on the door.

"Sehun! Kim Jing! Do you guys want to join us for a movie?" said someone with a low voice said, who was most probably Chanyeol.

"Sure! We'll join you guys in a minute!" I replied  loudly.

I turned my head, facing her and asked,"We should go now then."

I grabbed her hand, interlacing our fingers  and went to the living room. When we reached the living room, we saw most of them there, excluding DO and Kai.

"Where is Kai and DO?" Kim Jing asked Kris.

"They're preparing the popcorn, which is taking so long," He answered.

"I'll go and help them!" I offered before adding, "You sit here comfortably" to Kim Jing.

I went to kitchen only to see popcorns on the floor. I looked up to see DO and Kai.

"What happened here hyung?" I asked in confusion.

"We were...." DO stopped speaking.

"Having a food fight," Kai completed DO's sentence.

"No! Thats not true! Kai here was trying to make the popcorns and one by one, the popcorn popped and they fell onto the ground." DO explained in details.

"So now we are out of popcorns?" I asked both of them.

"Yeah......unless someone wants to go and buy it?" Kai stared at me while saying it.

"Okay okay! I will go and get it," I rolled ny eyes at Kai.

I walked out of the kitchen and went to the living room. I announced to the guys that I would be buying the popcorn. Kim Jing eyed me, almost pleading me not to go. Luckily, Tao said he wanted to follow me and Kim Jing eyes showed that she was relieved because Tao knows martial arts so if we were to get attacked, Tao could handle them.

Both of us walked to the supermarket since it was near to our house. As we were walking to the supermarket, I was very alert. My heart was beating fast. As we entered the supermarket, I let out the breath that I have been holding since I left the house. Soon, both of us were having fun. We were playing a game that required us to find whatever food that we needed. I was finding popcorns while Tao was finding whatever thing he needed. Since I found the popcorn first, I decided to go and pay it first and waited for Tao outside. I had forgotten that someone was out there to catch me.

I stood outside alone. The cold wind blew against me, making me feel cold. Since it was dark, everything seemed so creepy and spooky. Suddenly, I heard soft footsteps coming towards me. I turned and looked around but I saw nothing. The footsteps were getting a little louder. As I was about to turn around, I felt something hit my head and I was unconscious.

** Tao's POV **

I went to find my soda and quickly went to pay for it. I went out of the supermarket and looked for Sehun but he wasnt here. He cant find that popcorn for sure, I grinned to myself. So, I just stood at the door of the supermarket, waiting for Sehun to appear.

I saw a figure walking towards me. It was the cashier.

"Sir, we will be closing soon," The girl said.

"I'm waiting for my friend. He is still inside," I replied.

"Oh? Sorry sir, but is your friend the one that went into the supermarket with you? The one with the blonde hair? He has already left before you did," She told me.

I was stunned. What! He left me alone here for an hour! I was kinda angry. I quickly thanked the girl and rushed home.

As I reached home, I opened the door and shouted angrily, "Where's Sehun?!"

Kris came up to me and calmed me down. He brought me to the living room and everyone crowded around us.

"What happened?" Kris asked me.

"He left me at the supermarket alone," I told Kris.

"What? He's not at home!" Kris said.

Everyone was shocked, even me. Out of a sudden, we heard a sob, coming from Kim Jing. She was crying.

"Its all my fault," She mumbled non stop.

Luhan, who was sitting next to her, wrapped his arms around her and comforted her. He mumbled something into her ears, and she started to relax.

"I tell you guys the whole thing," She said while letting out a sigh and wiped her tears away.
