Chapter Seventeen

CHAPTER 17

** Luhan's POV **

I was sitting here in class with Baekhyun, still wondering why Kim Jing was not here yet. There she is, I thought. Baekhyun and I waved at her so that she would come and sit with us. Instead, she walked into the class like a zombie and sat at the seat nearest to the door. It was as if she was in a deep thought. Baekhyun turned to me and gave me the look.

"What's wrong with her?" Baekhyun mouthed to words to me in order not to get caught by the teacher.

I just shrugged my shoulders and turned to the teacher, who was blabbering nonsense. I will find out what is making Kim Jing be like that, I thought determinely.

< After class >

"RINGGGGGG!" The class bell rang.

All of the students started packing their bags, so did Kim Jing. Baekhyun and I packed out bags quickly and went to Kim Jing's seat.

"Kim Jing! Why were you like that during the whole lesson?" Baekhyun asked her.

"Like what?" She asked like as if she didnt know.

"Like as if you're in deep thoughts. Did something happen?" I asked her while narrowing my eyes at her.

"N-no! Of course not!" She replied, just too fast.
Something's fishy, I mentally spoke. It seemed that Baekhyun also had the same thinking as me since he looked at me with the I-dont-believe-her face.

"Okay then! Let's go get our food since its break time!" I said excitedly, trying to enlighten the mood.

All three of us walked to the canteen and saw a girl. She was chasing Sehun around the canteen, shouting Oppa. Sehun looked annoyed and frustrated.

"WOW! Who is that girl?" Baekhyun asked no one in particular.

Before Baekhyun could even finish his sentence, Kim Jing already ran towards where Sehun was and grabbed him by the hand. Hell she looked like a murder.

** Kim Jing's POV **

As Luhan, Baekhyun and me walked to the canteen, I saw her again. Now she was chasing my Sehun around the canteen while Sehun was trying to avoid her. Its time to save my boyfriend from that lunatic girl!

I didnt even get to hear what Baekhyun asked because I was making way towards Sehun and the girl quickly. I stopped beside Sehun and grabbed his hands. Then, the girl stopped in front of me. I stared at her with the murderous look.

"Why were you chasing my boyfriend?" I emphasized on the 'my boyfriend' part.

She looked shocked, but it was a total fake one.

"Omo! I'm sorry! I didnt know," she said, rolling her eyes at me.

"Okay. I shall let you know now then. I'm Kim Jing and he is my boyfriend, which means he is not available," I said harshly to her.

She just stormed her way out of my sight. I grinned widely to myself. I turned to look at Sehun.

"What was that all about?" Sehun asked me.

"What?" I replied innocently.

"My girlfriend is a hero!" Sehun smirked.

He leaned into me, wanting to give me a kiss. Before our lips were about to touch, someone coughed, almost too loudly.

"No PDA in school please. I want my eyes to stay virgin.....," Baekhyun told us, while laughing and making his way to the table where the other member were at.

Sehun and I just shaked our head slightly at what Baekhyun had said, in a playful manner. Soon, all of us went to table and started eating. Jang Eun and Lily were already there, each sitting next to Kai and Kris respectively. Wow, they are sure quick, I said mentally. I sent Lily and Jang Eun looks and they blushed instantly.

While I was eating, I felt that someone was just staring at me. I looked around me but no one was looking at me. I looked down to my food and quickly looked up again. I managed to catch a boy  who looked at me and quickly turned his head when I looked at his direction. I ate my food quickly and excused myself. Apparently, that boy stood up and followed to where I went. I found a pillar and hid behind it. When that boy walked past that pillar, I crept behind him and grabbed him by his neck and applied forces around his neck.

"What do you want from me?" I asked angrily.

"I-i-i have to give you something. I-it was-s from someone," he took out a piece of note form his pocket and passed it to me, with his hands trembling in fear.

After giving me that piece of paper, he ran away. I opened the paper and there was a message.

It said:

BREAK UP WITH SEHUN! I GIVE YOU TILL THE END OF THE DAY. IF YOU DONT DO IT, SEHUN WILL GET HURT.

I was so terrified. I do not know what I was supposed to do. I thought hard and I made up my mind. I'm just going to stick with Sehun today until we reach home so that she cant take him away. I stuffed that paper into my pocket and walked to where my friends were.

With that, I clinged on to Sehun and stayed with him for the rest of the day since we had the same classes together.

< After Last Class >

"Phew! At last, school ended!" Chanyeol said as the 13 of us walked to the big ass van to go home.

"I know right! It was so draggy!" Baekhyun exclaimed.

I held Sehun's hand tightly and walked with him. All of us climbed into the van and drove off.

When we reached the house, Sehun immediately went out of the van and pulled me out gently and dragged me into the house, into my bedroom.

"What the hell was that? You, holding my hand all the way from the end of our break until the end of school?! You were also looking around suspiciously! What is going on!" Sehun asked me in anger.

"U-uh, you know-w," I stuttered and paused for a while before continuing,"There's someone who wanted to hurt you! And I was protecting you!" I screamed at him.

"What? Who is that person eh?" He asked me in a mocking tone, as if he didnt believe me.

"I....dont know," I answered him, looking down to the floor.

Sehun walked closer to me and lifted my head up, staring into my eyes before saying, "Kim Jing-ah~ I can take care of myself you know? Relax, I'm going to be okay."

He kissed my forehead and hugged me. Its going to be alright, he's strong, I thought to myself.

Instead, I was dead wrong....
