CHAPTER 23

<5 years later>

** Sehun's POV **

I was sleeping peacefully until someone opened the curtain. Then, I felt that someone was sitting next to my right ear. I knew who it was.

"Daddy!" Jinah, my 3 year old daughter whispered into my ear, making me smile.

But, I kept my eyes closed and ignored Jinah. I pretended to be sleeping. Jinah went to whisper again and this time, she kissed my cheeks. I opened my eyes, only to see my beautiful daughter in front of me. She gaved  me a toothy grin.

"Come here to daddy!" I said to my daughter while reaching out to her small fragile body. Instantly, she came in contact with my hand. I pulled her carefully to my chest and wrapped my arms around her small body. Jinah looked at me and gave me her famous smile that could make any adult love her instantly.

Jinah looked like her mum. She got the cute  large brown eyes, heart-shaped lips and also intellegence from her mum while she got cute  nose and killer looks from me. If only, Kim Jing was here....

"Mommy?" Jinah asked this question. She asked it like everyday. I would always avoided the question but not today.

"We are seeing Mommy today." I force myself to give Jinah a smile, but obviously, it was a fake smile. Jinah's eyes lit up, smiling so brightly.

As I said that, flashback flowed into my mind.

[ Start of Flashback ]

"Miss Kim Jing! Your baby! She has low chances of living! We need to operate you and take her out immediately!" The doctor told Kim Jing.

I looked at Kim Jing, worried was an understatement. Kim Jing looked at me with sad smile.

"I'll be back Sehun. You dont have to be worried. Our baby girl, Jinah, will be save, so will I." Kim Jing said while squeezing my hands that was interlocking hers.

"Stay stong baby. I love you." I told her and kissed her forehead. With that, the doctor brought her into the surgery room while I waited outside, praying non stop.
