Chapter 1 Before...

Edgar's POV December 19th 2016

I woke up like any normal day. I brushed my teeth and got dressed and went to school without breakfast. When I got on the bus I sat next to my best friend Jake. Him and I were basically one of the eleven punching bags of the school. The only friend I ever had that's not bullied is Jessica. Like most of the time she wore a black skullcap. I secretly had a crush on her. I mean like I liked liked sense 7th grade "The year we met". Only Jake knew about my crush on her. He keeps trying to convince me to confess to her but I don't have the guts. We are all in tenth grade now. Then Jake said hey dude aren't you so excited about Christmas break?! Cause I am! He said excitedly. Oh I completely forgot. And I was supposed to grab a Christmas present for Jessica. Then I thought wait I can go and grab it during my lunch break. but once I said I had a Christmas present for her he had a cocked eyebrow and a goofy smile on his face. Then I said you best not tell her! Or else I'll break your jaw I threatened sarcastically. He said holy cow man! Then I said I'm just kidding! Jesus....
