Chapter 14 the life of Edgar

Jake's POV

Bang! Edgar was shot in the head right before our eyes. I looked behind me to see Jessica. She had tears rolling down her eyes. And she rushed to the fence with a assault rifle and started blasting away. I said No!!!! As I started firing a Winchester repeater. All I heard was gun shots then I heard get your cars ready! Go through the gates! Kill the all! Marcus was riding on a tank with his sniper the rest of his men were either in cars or behind the tank. I took cover behind a wall and then I heard moans. I saw zombies pile in behind me. I was firing my assault rifle and then a zombie got on top of me. I pushed it off me and stabbed it. I picked it up and used it as a shield from gun shots. I was looking for Marcus but I could not see him. So I started firing at all the people in front of me. I picked up someone's grenade and pulled the pin and through it in the tank firing hole and it exploded. Then I saw Marcus and some of his men behind a slow truck they haven't reached the car that was used as cover. So I got behind the car and of course Marcus was behind them all. And when nobody was looking I tackled him to the ground as we were punching each other. Then he got up and pined me to the under side of the car. Well the car was knocked over so the under side was its right side. He started stomping on my foot. And then he punched me in the stomach then face then he took me by my head and through me over his knee pinning me to the ground. He kept punching me in the face again and again. Then he saw tons of zombies behind us so he got off me and ran. I ran for the weapons cash I got lots of ammo and a assault rifle and a m19. My normal rifle was back in the house. Then I stumbled across Edgar's body and I took his crossbow and one of his knifes since I didn't have my machete. And even if I did I still would have taken one in memory of him. I grabbed his back pack and put it on. I put the crossbow in their. I limped out of Alaxandria and into the forest I took one last glance at the place and went farther into the forest. I Was really screwed up I thought. I could barely speak, I was limping and I could not run.
