Chapter 4 the store

Edgar's POV
Jake what are you doing? here I she asked. He said oh just wondering if your still alive. I said he came through the back. So I said well umm alright. We were going to look for you before we left town. We're going to the Delmar gun store. We need a place to stay. any ideas? I said nervously. Jake said how about we go for the old farm we used to play in I said fine. Jessica said, well it's the most secure in miles. Alright we know we're we are going I said. Jake you start your truck on it he said. Jessica you pack food, weapons, water and supplies I will go get my duffel bag for the store. Jessica said the stores a perfect idea for supplies

Time skip

We arrive at the store and I shove everything in sight in my bag. Gas, soda, snacks, meds, alcohol, and water. We had enough to last us at least three weeks! I said but then I bumped the cash register by accident and the alarm went off. I ran to the truck and through the duffle in the truck bed and then through myself in the bed. Jessica and I were sitting in the bed and I opened the sliding window to his truck and said how much longer? He said about 2 more hours. So then Jessica and I played a game. We had to tell each other secrets, or things that we did and have never told anyone. She went first and said ok Edgar secret and my face turned bright. About an hour into the drive she got tired and put her head on my shoulder. She said do you want to lie down? I said, umm what do you mean? She eventually got out a body pillow and a sleeping bag. Yeah sure I said. Then she went in her bag she looked back at me and said what? I said no I'm just kinda cold that's all then she said well get in here with me. My cheeks turned pink again. Then I got in there with her. Then I put my arm around her. Then she closed her eyes and fell asleep. So did I.
