Chapter 5 Creepy barn

Edgar's POV

I woke up at 7 pm than I realized we have sleeping the entire day. I crawled out of the sleeping bag accidentally waking up Jessica. Sorry I said in a real quiet tone. We were in the barn apparently Jake dragged us out of his truck. He said hey love birds. Jessica and I looked at each other then back at Jake who had goofy smile on his face. I yelled at him. Jake! Then Jessica said no Jake! It's not like that! He said sorry it's just you two are always cuddling. We sat by the fire and then Jessica put her head on my shoulder again.

December 21st 2016

I decided to make a run for the gun store in Jake's truck. We only had knifes and bats. I saw Jessica running towards me with my duffle bag and screamed wait I'm coming with you! I said no I don't want you getting injured. She said I'm coming with you! I said fine.

We got to the store and noticed it was locked. Then we heard screams. A woman who was being attacked by a lot those "things" I said leave her she will make enough noise to get what we need and since it's locked it's most likely still fully stocked. I broke the window by smashing it with my baseball bat. We saw the whole collection of guns pistols, rifles, 44 magnums, and even crossbows. And it had tons of ammo. We grabbed one rifle one cross bow and six pistols. Than I stumbled across a katana and I slipped it into the duffle we still had time so we looked at the melee weapons and saw machetes and grabbed 3 of them and they all came in cases which we could put on a belt. Then we saw cross bow arrows and straps. I took all of them. Then I saw a really cool knife but the bag was already full so I put it in my pocket. then I saw a rack of belts so we took them all. We retreated to the truck.

We got to the farm and found Jake snoring away in Jessica's sleeping bag then we woke him up. Then we heard some voices outside.
