instead of calling for his chauffeur, taeyong opted for a cab and headed towards the nearest club. once he was inside, he sat down at the bar and ordered a few shots of vodka just to drown himself a little.
the shots of alcohol didn't do much to help him forget about miyoung. his thought kept going back to how he had left her dumbfounded at his confession.
how could she not have known taeyong's feelings for her, nonetheless, how obvious her infatuation towards her chauffeur was? the way she was just talking to him out in the open during her own engagement party, boiled his blood.
taeyong had met miyoung's chauffeur on a few occasions. he knew that they were close because of their age--but not this close.
dong sicheng had started working for miyoung's family just a few months ago. he had just come from china over to korea because he got accepted into sm academy. the boy was looking for work, and despite his minimal korean, the park's still hired him.
miyoung took it within the kindness of her heart, to teach the by some korean. she did it in secret of course, because her parents would not approve of her sneaking into the worker's living quarters to teach an unruly boy some korean.
taeyong should have told on her when miyoung decided to tell him her secret. he should have told her parents so that her feelings would not have progressed this far.
breaking taeyong from his thoughts, someone pulled out a stool next to him.
it was a girl with long platinum blonde hair. her face was caked with makeup despite no one being able to see it considering the club was dark as hell. with the exception of a few techno lights pulsating through the establishment. she was also wearing a fitted navy blue dress. the color was similar to that of miyoung's however, this one was much shorter and lacked the elegance that miyoung possessed.
"are you okay there sweetie?" her sultry voice gave taeyong a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. he turned away from her, not in the mood to converse with anyone at the moment.
"aw, come on, don't be like that..." she put a hand on his forearm and pressed her body closer to his. " i could make you forget about everything that happened today." her whispers tickled his ear and a shiver ran down his spine. for a second, taeyong considered the offer, but quickly regained his train of thought.
"no thank you, i'm perfectly fine." he grumbled. despite his rejection, the girl kept pressing onto him. with a few kisses on his neck, taeyong lost control and began pulling the girl away from the nightclub.
unbeknownst to taeyong, a few paparazzi members were hanging around the infamous nightclub hoping to snatch a few pictures of korea's beloved idols getting wasted. today, they stumbled upon an even better story: lee taeyong, son of korea's most successful company, seen with an unknown girl

back at the gala, miyoung sat at the bar, tears threatening to fall from her cheeks.
sicheng went up to her and offered her a glass of champagne. "this is the...only way i can talk to you without...g-getting caught." his korean was still a little broken, but he was much better than when he first started working for miyoung's family.
"thank you..." she wiped away her tears, not wanting to be in a depressing mood before a boy that made her heart flutter uncontrollably. however, she couldn't help but have her thoughts wander back to taeyong--where could he have possibly gone out at this hour?
